What Okara AI Is
Okara AI is a marketing product that calls itself an AI CMO, a chief marketing officer made of software. Its home page describes it as "the only AI CMO you need for growth and marketing" and asks for one thing to start: "Enter your website and let the AI CMO handle the rest." Behind that sits a set of ten AI agents that research your business, write strategy documents and then produce marketing work every day: SEO fixes, visibility in AI answers, posts for X and LinkedIn, Reddit replies, articles, Hacker News pitches, short videos and influencer campaigns.
Okara is made by StreamOye Pte Ltd, the company named on its site, and it says it is used by more than 100,000 users. It is free to start with no credit card, and the paid plans begin at $129 a month. The audience it describes is broad: B2B SaaS, startups, ecommerce, agencies, professional services and small businesses, which matters for the rest of this review, because a tool built for every kind of business makes different trade offs from one built for a single kind.
This page is a review in the plain sense. Every Okara fact below comes from Okara's own website, pricing page and documentation, opened on 20 October 2026 and linked so you can check it. Spreadcast is our product, and it appears here as an alternative for one specific reader, someone marketing an app on the App Store. Where Okara does more than Spreadcast, this page says so.
How Okara AI Works, Step by Step
This is the flow Okara's quickstart, FAQ and channel docs describe, from the first visit to the first post.
- Step 1
Paste Your Website Address
Okara's quickstart says the website address is the only input. It reads your home page, pricing page and other public pages to understand the product, the audience and the competition, and it asks for your main marketing site rather than a staging address or a Notion page.
- Step 2
Wait While the Agent Sets Up
According to Okara's FAQ, setup takes 3 to 5 minutes on the free plan and 5 to 8 minutes on Pro, and you can watch it work in a terminal style activity feed. If a step fails, it retries up to three times and keeps what it already finished.
- Step 3
Read the Strategy Documents
The agent writes documents your other agents use for every task: product information and a marketing strategy on every plan, plus competitor analysis and a brand voice guide on the paid plans. The home page lists five documents in total, including a content strategy.
- Step 4
Work Through the Agents Feed
Each day, every active agent adds cards to an Agents Feed: Reddit replies, X posts, LinkedIn posts, articles, Hacker News pitches, AI search recommendations and SEO fixes. You review each one, edit it if you want, and act on it.
- Step 5
Publish by Hand or Connect Your Accounts
Okara's channel overview says that for most channels you review and post manually, and that you can connect your social accounts or your website's CMS to publish from the dashboard or let the agent post on a schedule.
- Step 6
Refresh When Your Product Changes
On paid plans a website refresh reads your site again and rewrites the strategy documents when your product, pricing or positioning changes. You can trigger one every 24 hours, and Okara also checks your site in the background and refreshes on its own when it sees a significant change.
What You See in the Okara AI Dashboard
Okara's dashboard overview splits the product into five panels. This is what each one shows and which plan it needs.
| Panel | What it shows | Plan |
|---|---|---|
| AI CMO Terminal | A live, timestamped log of what the agent is doing: reading your site, drafting an article, finding a Reddit thread, refreshing SEO data | Free and paid |
| Company | Your company name, website, description, audience and competitors, plus the strategy documents every agent reads first, all editable | Free and paid; competitor analysis and brand voice need a paid plan |
| Analytics | Five tabs: SEO health, backlinks, visibility in AI answers, technical audits, and traffic from Google Analytics and Search Console, refreshed every 6 hours | SEO, Technical and Traffic on every plan; Links and GEO paid only |
| Agents Feed | The daily queue of cards from each agent, in a Current tab and an Archived tab | Free and paid, with more card types on paid plans |
| Talk to AI CMO | A chat that knows your product and strategy, with a daily rundown each morning of what the agents produced overnight | Free and paid; paid answers can draw on more data |
Details from Okara's documentation pages for the dashboard, the Company panel, Analytics, the Agents Feed and Talk to AI CMO, checked on 20 October 2026.
How to Control What Okara AI Writes
Everything Okara writes starts from the Company panel. Its four strategy documents, product information, a marketing strategy, a competitor analysis and a brand voice guide, are all editable, and the agent uses your edited version on its next run. If the agent misunderstood your product or your tone, this is where you fix it once rather than correcting every draft.
For finer control, the Agents Feed has Writing Instructions for each agent. You can set the tone of Reddit replies and list priority subreddits and search keywords for the threads it looks for, describe how your X and LinkedIn posts should sound and which angles to use, and set the audience, depth and topics for articles. Each card can then be posted directly, copied, published to your CMS, marked as done or archived, and anything you archive does not come back.
The Talk to AI CMO chat is the third control: you can attach a specific card to a message and ask it to make a post shorter or rewrite an article intro for a technical audience. In practice, the strategy documents set the direction, the writing instructions set the style, and the chat handles single fixes.
What Okara AI's Analytics Measure
The Analytics panel is where Okara shows whether the work is moving anything, and it is built around your website. The SEO tab gives an overall search health score, Core Web Vitals, meta tag quality and the top issues to fix. The Technical tab covers page timing, resources that block rendering, content structure and resource errors. The Traffic tab brings in sessions, clicks, impressions and top pages once you connect Google Analytics or Search Console. These three refresh every 6 hours and are available on every plan.
Two tabs are paid only. Links shows your backlink profile: total links, referring domains, link health and the top sources. GEO shows how visible your product is in AI generated answers from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI and Claude, the measure behind the GEO agent's recommendations. Together they make Okara a reasonable search dashboard even before any agent writes a word.
What the analytics documentation does not describe is reporting on the social posts themselves, such as reach or engagement on X and LinkedIn, so plan to read those numbers in each network's own insights. For an app, the numbers that matter most, downloads and retention, live in App Store Connect rather than in any marketing dashboard.
Okara AI Pricing in October 2026
Okara sells three plans for one product, plus extra projects and an agency option without a public price. Yearly billing works out to two months free. These figures are from Okara's pricing page and its plans documentation.
| Plan | Price | What it unlocks |
|---|---|---|
| Free AI CMO | $0 | Website analysis, product information, a marketing strategy, a home page SEO audit, and SEO and AI search recommendations every day |
| AI CMO Lite | $129 a month, or $1,290 a year | Everything in Free, plus the X agent with at least 30 posts a month, the influencer and coding agents, competitor analysis, a brand voice guide, tracking of up to 15 AI search prompts, team sharing and extra projects |
| AI CMO Pro | $249 a month, or $2,490 a year | Everything in Lite, plus Reddit, LinkedIn with at least 30 posts a month, articles with at least 30 a month published to your CMS, Hacker News pitches and UGC videos with at least 30 drafts a month |
| Extra projects | Billed separately, no public price | A second, fully separate AI CMO for another product, on a paid plan |
| Agency | No public price | Lower pricing per website as you add more sites, according to the pricing page |
Prices are in US dollars as shown on Okara's site on 20 October 2026. Check the pricing page before buying, since plans in this market change often.
Okara AI Credits: What Each Action Costs
Okara measures usage in credits. Okara's credits documentation gives the free plan 5 credits once, and Lite and Pro 2,000 credits each month. Credits reset on your billing date and do not carry over, so unused credits are lost at the end of the month.
| What the agent does | Credits per item |
|---|---|
| Generate an article | 18 |
| Run an SEO and AI search analysis | 10 |
| Refresh your website and strategy | 10 |
| Draft a Hacker News post | 9 |
| Find a Reddit thread and draft a reply | 8 |
| Draft a LinkedIn post | 7 |
| Draft an X post | 5 |
| Generate an image for an article | 5 |
| Make a UGC video | 60 |
| Talk to the AI CMO in chat | Varies with the length of the conversation |
Okara says a Pro account running every agent at full output typically uses around 1,700 credits a month, leaving about 300 spare. When credits run out, scheduled agent runs pause until more arrive. Top ups cost $45 for 860 credits, $90 for 2,000 and $180 for 4,600.
How Much Okara AI Costs per Post, From Its Own Credit Prices
Dividing each plan's price by its 2,000 monthly credits gives the effective cost of each action, if you use every credit. Unused credits expire at the end of the month, so a quieter month costs more per post.
| Action | Credits | On Lite ($129 for 2,000 credits) | On Pro ($249 for 2,000 credits) |
|---|---|---|---|
| X post | 5 | About $0.32 | About $0.62 |
| LinkedIn post | 7 | Not available on Lite | About $0.87 |
| Reddit reply | 8 | Not available on Lite | About $1.00 |
| Article | 18 | Not available on Lite | About $2.24 |
| UGC video | 60 | Not available on Lite | About $7.47 |
Our arithmetic from Okara's published prices: $129 divided by 2,000 is about 6.5 cents a credit and $249 divided by 2,000 about 12.5 cents. Top up credits work out cheaper per credit, about 5.2 cents at $45 for 860, 4.5 cents at $90 for 2,000 and 3.9 cents at $180 for 4,600, but you only reach them after paying for a plan.
Is Okara AI Free?
Partly. The free plan is real software rather than a trial: Okara's plan documentation calls it "a fully working agent from day one", with strategy documents, a live SEO audit and SEO and AI search recommendations in the feed every day. What it does not include is any of the agents that write social posts. X needs Lite, and LinkedIn needs Pro.
The free plan also has two limits worth knowing. Its SEO audit covers your home page only, while Lite and Pro audit every subpage daily, according to Okara's FAQ. And it comes with 5 credits once, which is enough to look around rather than to run a month of marketing. So the honest answer to "is Okara AI free" is that the analysis is free and the marketing work is paid.
For comparison, Spreadcast's free plan drafts three finished posts for one app, designed from your App Store listing, for you to download and post yourself. Neither free plan publishes for you; both are a way to see the output before paying.
The 10 Okara AI Agents, Plan by Plan
Okara's documentation lists ten agents. The plan each one needs decides most of what you pay.
SEO Agent: Free
Finds on page fixes, keyword gaps and content opportunities for your website, and refreshes its audit as Google sees your changes.
GEO Agent: Free
Tracks and improves how often your product is cited in AI answers from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Claude. Lite tracks up to 15 prompts.
X Agent: Lite
Writes daily post and thread drafts in your brand voice, at least 30 posts a month on Lite and Pro, ready to edit and post.
Influencer Agent: Lite
Finds creators on X and LinkedIn and runs campaigns from the brief to outreach, funding and payout tracking.
Coding Agent: Lite
Opens pull requests on your GitHub repository with technical SEO and AI search fixes, so the changes reach your code for review.
Reddit Agent: Pro
Finds Reddit threads where your product fits and drafts replies written to sound like a community member.
LinkedIn Agent: Pro
Writes founder voice LinkedIn posts, at least 30 a month, on lessons, product decisions, milestones and customer stories.
Writer Agent: Pro
Writes full SEO articles, at least 30 a month, and publishes them directly to WordPress, Webflow or Framer on Pro.
Hacker News Agent: Pro
Drafts several versions of a Show HN post in a builder's voice, for you to post yourself.
UGC Video Agent: Pro
Makes short AI video clips from a guided brief. Its UGC page offers formats from 9:16 for TikTok to 16:9 for YouTube.
Which Networks Okara AI Posts To
For social media, Okara publishes to two networks today: X and LinkedIn. Its X documentation describes a daily tweet draft with the angle behind it and a character count, which you post by hand or with a Post button once you have connected your X account. Its LinkedIn documentation describes a full post draft and the angle, which you paste into LinkedIn or publish with one click after connecting. In both cases the cards are written posts; the docs do not describe designed images for them.
The home page lists Instagram, TikTok and Slack as coming soon. WhatsApp and Telegram appear among the integrations too, but there they are a way to chat with your AI CMO and get reports, not channels it posts to. For websites, the Writer agent publishes articles to WordPress, Webflow or Framer on Pro, and the home page also names Wix and Sanity among its CMS integrations.
If your audience is mostly on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Threads, Pinterest or Bluesky, that list is the most important fact in this review. Spreadcast publishes to Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, Threads, Pinterest, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram and Discord, plus YouTube for video posts, and it does not post to X. The two tools overlap only on LinkedIn.
Okara AI Integrations, and Which Plan Each One Needs
Okara's integrations overview says integrations are optional: the Agents Feed works without them, and they remove the copy and paste step. The plan you are on decides which ones can publish.
| Integration | What it does | Plan |
|---|---|---|
| WordPress, Webflow, Framer | Publishes the Writer agent's articles to your blog, live at once or as drafts | Pro |
| X | Posts X drafts from the dashboard, or lets the agent post them on a schedule | Lite and Pro |
| Publishes LinkedIn posts from the dashboard | Pro | |
| GitHub | Lets the coding agent open pull requests on one repository per project, which you review and merge yourself | Lite and Pro |
| Google Analytics, Search Console | Brings sessions, clicks, impressions and top pages into the Traffic tab | Every plan |
| WhatsApp, Telegram | Lets you chat with your AI CMO from your messaging app | Every plan |
| No posting integration: you copy each drafted reply and post it yourself | Pro for the agent |
From Okara's integration pages, including WordPress and GitHub, and the Reddit agent page, which says Reddit posting stays manual to keep your account authentic and avoid Reddit's spam filters. Nothing on GitHub is merged automatically.
What Okara AI's Articles Look Like
Articles are the Pro plan's biggest output and the part most people searching for an Okara AI review want to judge. According to the Writer agent documentation, each article arrives as a complete markdown draft with a target keyword, an article type and an estimated length of 800 to 2,000 words, plus a generated Open Graph image to use when you publish.
The agent rotates through six types: SEO content aimed at high volume keywords, thought leadership, how to guides, comparisons of one product against another, case studies and best of lists. Okara says drafts are checked for phrasing that sounds machine written and follow your brand voice document. On WordPress, the integration sets the target keyword as the SEO title and focus keyword when Yoast or Rank Math is installed, attaches the Open Graph image as the featured image and files the post in a category you choose.
Whether those articles rank is a question no documentation can answer, and it depends on your site, your topic and how much you edit. Treat them as strong first drafts on topics picked from real keyword gaps, not as finished pages, and read each one before it goes live, which the draft setting on each CMS integration makes easy.
Video: Okara AI CMO Tested Hands On
Okara has no product walkthrough on its own YouTube channel, so this is an independent creator testing it, from entering a website to the first drafts. Prices mentioned in the video may differ from the current ones in the table above.
What Okara AI Does Well
Breadth is Okara's strongest point. Few tools put SEO audits, tracking in AI answers, articles published to your CMS, Reddit and Hacker News drafts, influencer campaigns and pull requests for your code in one place, driven by one set of strategy documents. For a founder whose main channel is search, both Google and AI answers, that combination is genuinely useful, and the free plan's daily SEO and AI search recommendations cost nothing to try.
The setup is light. One website address, a few minutes of waiting and a feed of drafts the next day is about as low as the effort gets for a tool this wide. The team sharing feature on paid plans lets colleagues work from the feed without their own login, and multiple projects give each product its own separate agent, strategy and integrations, which suits founders running more than one product.
The documentation is also unusually clear. The plan table, the cost of each action in credits and the limits on refunds are all published, which is not true for every tool in this space and is the reason this review could be specific about them.
Okara AI Compared With Hiring a Marketer
Okara's home page frames its price against a hired team, putting the cost of the people it replaces at more than $14,000 a month against its starting price of $129. That figure is Okara's own estimate, and the comparison is fair in one direction: no person can draft daily posts, articles, Reddit replies and SEO fixes for $129.
It is less fair in the other direction. The agents draft and recommend; a person still decides which drafts are good, posts the Reddit replies by hand, merges the pull requests and chooses which channels deserve the most time. Okara is closest to a fast, tireless junior marketer who needs a manager, and the manager is you. That is still a good deal for many founders, as long as you budget the review time along with the subscription.
Where Okara AI Falls Short for an App
Okara is built around websites, and an app's most important page is not on its website. Its documentation describes reading your home page, pricing page and public pages, and refreshing when your site changes. It does not describe reading an App Store listing, noticing that a new version shipped or that your rating crossed a milestone, which are the moments an app has the most to say. If your marketing site rarely changes but your app ships every two weeks, Okara will not see most of your news.
Social posts are the second gap. On Lite you get X posts, and LinkedIn needs Pro at $249 a month. There is no Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Threads, Pinterest or Bluesky publishing today, and the X and LinkedIn cards are text drafts. For an app, where the screenshot is usually the most convincing thing you can show, a text only post leaves the best asset out.
Two smaller points are worth knowing before you sign up. Changing your product address in the settings permanently deletes every report, opportunity, article and strategy document for the old site, and the agent starts again from scratch, according to Okara's FAQ. And Okara's refund policy says that in most cases subscription payments are not refundable, so the free plan is the place to judge it.
How an App Maker Would Set Up Okara AI
If you market an app and still want Okara, point it at your marketing website, not your App Store page. The quickstart asks for your main public site, and the FAQ notes that setup fails if the site is password protected or behind a login. The richer that site is, with features, pricing and use cases written out, the better the strategy documents will be, because they are built from what the site says.
Three agents fit an app best. The GEO agent watches whether AI answers mention your app when someone asks for the best app for a job, which is becoming a real discovery path. The Reddit agent, on Pro, finds threads where people ask for exactly what your app does. And the X agent, on Lite, suits developer tools and indie apps whose early users live on X. The coding agent only helps if your marketing site's code is on GitHub, since it fixes the website rather than the app.
Then keep the website current, because that is how Okara learns your news. A release that only reaches the App Store is invisible to it until the site changes, after which a website refresh, on a paid plan and at most once a day, or Okara's own background check, picks it up. For the posts about each release and rating milestone, and for Instagram, TikTok and the other visual networks Okara does not publish to yet, pair it with a tool that reads the App Store listing itself. Our guide to how to market an app shows how the pieces fit together.
Okara AI vs Spreadcast: Feature Comparison
Okara facts come from its own site and documentation on 20 October 2026. The rows an app maker cares about most come first, followed by the rows where Okara does more.
| Okara AI | Spreadcast | |
|---|---|---|
| What you give it | Your website address | Your App Store link, once. No SDK, no code and no access to your developer account |
| What starts a post | A daily run of each agent, based on your strategy documents | Spreadcast does, when your listing changes: a new version or a rating milestone. Any other post is one sentence away |
| What a social post looks like | A written draft for X or LinkedIn | A designed picture with your real screenshot in an iPhone frame, in your app's colors and fonts, plus a caption for each network |
| Social networks it publishes to | X and LinkedIn. Instagram and TikTok are listed as coming soon | Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, Threads, Pinterest, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram and Discord, plus YouTube for video posts |
| Price to publish on LinkedIn | $249 a month, the Pro plan | $29 a month, the Pro plan, with every other network included |
| Approval | Review each card and post it, or connect accounts and let the agent post | One tap to approve each post, or full autopilot |
| From an AI assistant | Chat with your AI CMO in the dashboard, WhatsApp or Telegram | Spreadcast's own MCP server lets Claude and ChatGPT design posts in your brand and save drafts for you |
| More than one product | Extra projects billed separately on paid plans, price not published | Studio covers 5 apps for $79 a month, each with its own brand and accounts |
| SEO, AI search and articles | Yes: audits, recommendations, coding fixes and articles published to your CMS | No. Pair Spreadcast with an SEO tool, or with Okara itself, if search is your main channel |
| Reddit, Hacker News and influencers | Yes, on Pro, plus influencer campaigns on Lite | No. Spreadcast stays on designed social posts for your app |
What Okara AI and Spreadcast Cost for an App Maker
The arithmetic depends on which networks you need. If you want designed posts on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and five more networks, Okara cannot publish most of them today at any price, and Spreadcast Pro does it for $29 a month with design, captions and publishing included. If LinkedIn is the network that matters, Okara's LinkedIn agent starts at $249 a month on Pro, against $29 for Spreadcast Pro, which also covers the other seven networks.
If search is your main channel, the comparison changes. Okara Lite at $129 a month gives you SEO and AI search work, X posts, coding fixes and influencer campaigns, none of which Spreadcast does. For an app that wants both, the two tools sit side by side without overlapping much: Okara Lite for search and X, and Spreadcast Pro for designed posts on the other networks, $158 a month together, which is still less than Okara Pro alone.
Both tools bill yearly with two months free: Okara Lite is $1,290 a year and Pro $2,490, while Spreadcast Pro is $290 a year and Studio $790. For a single launch month, Spreadcast also sells a 30 Day Pass for $39 that unlocks everything in Pro once, with no subscription, which has no equivalent on Okara's pricing page.
A Worked Month: Your App Ships Version 3.2
The same month seen through each tool, for an app that ships one update, crosses a rating milestone and wants to be visible on Instagram, LinkedIn and X.
| Moment | With Okara AI Lite | With Spreadcast Pro |
|---|---|---|
| Version 3.2 reaches the App Store | Nothing happens automatically. If you update your website, a refresh can pick up the change | A post about the update is designed with your new screenshot and captioned for each network |
| You want it on Instagram | Not available today | Published to Instagram, after your tap or on autopilot |
| You want it on LinkedIn | Needs the Pro plan at $249 a month | Published to LinkedIn with a caption written for LinkedIn |
| You want it on X | The X agent drafts text posts every day, at least 30 a month | Spreadcast does not post to X |
| Your rating passes 4.8 | Not tracked | A milestone post is designed and queued |
| Search and AI answers | Daily SEO and AI search recommendations, coding fixes on GitHub | Not covered |
| Monthly cost | $129 | $29 |
Is Okara AI Worth It? A Verdict by Type of Business
The same product is a strong buy for some businesses and a weak one for others. This is how the facts on this page play out by the kind of product you market.
| Type of business | Fit | Why |
|---|---|---|
| B2B SaaS with a blog | Strong | Search, AI answers, articles published to the CMS and LinkedIn are exactly what Okara is built around, though LinkedIn and articles need Pro |
| Developer tools and AI products | Strong | X on Lite, Hacker News and Reddit on Pro, and code fixes through GitHub match where developers discover tools |
| Agencies running several sites | Good | Multiple projects, team sharing and an agency plan with lower pricing per site, though extra projects have no published price |
| Ecommerce stores | Partial | SEO and articles help, but Instagram and TikTok, where most store marketing happens, are still listed as coming soon |
| Local businesses | Weak | Their customers are mostly on Instagram and Facebook, which Okara does not publish to today |
| Apps on the App Store | Weak for social, good for search | Okara does not read the App Store listing or publish to visual networks, so pair it with a tool built for app updates |
Fit is our judgment from Okara's own documentation and pricing on 20 October 2026, not a rating from Okara.
When Okara AI Is the Better Choice
Okara is the better pick in several clear cases. If one of these describes you, start there.
Search Is Your Main Channel
If most of your users find you through Google or AI answers, Okara's SEO audits, AI search tracking, articles and coding fixes cover work no social tool does.
Your Audience Lives on X
Developer tools and AI products often grow on X, and Okara's Lite plan drafts daily posts and threads there. Spreadcast does not post to X.
You Launch on Reddit and Hacker News
If a Show HN post or the right subreddit is your launch plan, the Reddit and Hacker News agents on Pro are built for exactly that.
You Have No App Store Listing
If your product is a website or a web app with no iPhone app, Okara's website first approach fits it, and Spreadcast's App Store based posts do not apply.
Okara AI Alternatives and Competitors
Spreadcast is ours and comes first, because for an app it is the closest replacement for the part of Okara most app makers buy it for: steady social posts without writing them. The others are described from their own home pages, ranked by how directly they cover that job.
- 1
Spreadcast
Free drafts 3 posts to download; Pro is $29 a month with design, captions and publishing to 8 networksBest for app makers: designs posts from your App Store listing and publishes them for you
Spreadcast starts where an app's news actually happens. You paste your App Store link once on the start page, and Spreadcast reads your listing every day. When a new version appears, it designs a post about the update with your real screenshot in an iPhone frame, in your colors and fonts, writes a caption for each network and publishes it, either after your tap or fully on autopilot. Rating milestones become posts the same way.
On Pro, Spreadcast publishes to Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, Threads, Pinterest, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram and Discord, plus YouTube for video posts. Any other post, a tip, a feature or a carousel, is one sentence away in the same brand.
If you work from an AI assistant, Spreadcast's MCP server lets Claude and ChatGPT design posts and save drafts for you. Studio covers 5 apps for $79 a month, and the full list is on the pricing page.
Pros
- Designs each post from your listing, screenshots and brand
- New versions and rating milestones become posts by themselves
- Publishes to 8 networks with a caption for each
- One tap approval, or full autopilot
- Pro includes design, captions and publishing for $29 a month
Cons
- Built for apps on the Apple App Store
- No SEO, articles or X; pair it with a search tool if you need them

Best for a small business that wants posts from a website
Marky describes itself as AI social media management that creates consistent posts and publishes them across your platforms in minutes. Like Okara, it starts from a website rather than an app listing, and it focuses on social posts rather than search. Our Marky comparison covers its plans in detail.
- 3
Best for AI ads and video ads from a prompt
Predis.ai leads with a free AI ad generator that turns text prompts into ads and video ads. It is a good fit when paid creative is the job, and less direct for a feed that follows your app's releases. More in our Predis.ai comparison.
- 4
Best for builders who want an API and MCP server for posting
Blotato calls itself the social media API and MCP server for AI agents, ChatGPT and Claude, and says it publishes to 9 platforms, reads analytics and runs Instagram and Facebook direct messages. It suits people building their own agent, and the content still comes from you or your agent. See our Blotato alternatives roundup.
- 5
Best open source scheduler driven by AI assistants
Postiz describes itself as an agentic scheduling platform where Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or OpenClaw plan, schedule and publish to more than 30 channels from one calendar. It covers far more networks than Okara, and it schedules what you or your assistant bring. Our Postiz alternatives roundup compares it in depth.
- 6
Best if LinkedIn is the only network that matters
Taplio is an AI tool for LinkedIn growth: finding ideas, writing in your voice, scheduling at the best time and turning an audience into leads. If the reason you looked at Okara Pro was its LinkedIn agent, Taplio is the specialist for that one network.
- 7
Best simple scheduler with a free plan
Buffer is social media management for everyone, with a forever free plan. It publishes what you make rather than making it, which is the opposite trade from Okara: less automation, much lower cost. Our Buffer comparison has the details.
Okara AI Chat and the Free Tools
Two other Okara products show up in searches and are easy to confuse with the AI CMO. The first is a separate chat product. Okara's chat page describes an AI chatbot and assistant with more than 30 premium models, naming GPT 5, Claude 4 and Gemini 2.5, a Secure Mode and real time web search, free to start with no card. People searching "okara ai vs chatgpt" are usually comparing that chat app, not the marketing agents.
The second is a set of free tools on Okara's site, including an AI humanizer that rewrites AI generated text to sound more natural, with no sign up and a 5,000 character limit per use, plus generators for llms.txt files, meta descriptions, robots.txt and sitemaps, a UTM builder and a schema markup generator. They are useful small utilities and separate from the paid plans.
One note for app makers on the UTM builder. UTM parameters track visits to a website, but they do not carry through to the App Store. Apple attributes downloads with its own campaign links, which use a provider token and a campaign token, and App Store Connect then reports impressions, product page views and downloads for each campaign. Use UTM links for your website and campaign links for the store; our free App Store campaign link generator builds the second kind.
Okara AI Refunds, Cancellation and the Company Behind It
You can cancel an Okara subscription at any time from the billing settings in your account, and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for, according to its refund policy. The same page says that in most cases payments are not refundable; refunds are considered in exceptional cases such as a bug, after a support call where you show the problem, and approved refunds take 5 to 10 business days.
The company named on the site and in the refund policy is StreamOye Pte Ltd, and billing questions go to support@okara.ai. Okara does not publish its funding or investors on its own pages, so this review does not repeat numbers from third party databases, which disagree with each other.
Questions to Answer Before You Buy Okara AI
Since Okara's refund policy says payments are usually not refundable, these are worth answering on the free plan first.
Where Do Your Users Actually Come From?
If the answer is Google, AI answers, X, Reddit or LinkedIn, Okara covers it. If it is Instagram, TikTok or Facebook, Okara does not publish there today.
Is Your Website the Best Description of Your Product?
Okara learns your product from your site. If your site is thin or out of date, fix that first, or edit the strategy documents by hand.
Do You Run WordPress, Webflow or Framer?
Articles publish automatically only to those three on Pro. On any other platform you download each article and paste it in yourself.
Who Will Review the Feed Every Day?
Drafts arrive daily and most channels still need a person to post. If nobody has twenty minutes a day, much of the output will sit unused.
How Many Products Do You Run?
Each extra product is a separate project billed on top of your plan, with no published price, so ask before you add a second one.
Which Plan Do You Really Need?
If LinkedIn or articles are the reason you are buying, you need Pro at $249. Lite at $129 covers X, influencers and code fixes, not those.
Our Verdict on Okara AI
Okara AI is a capable, wide marketing tool for products that live on a website. If search, AI answers, articles and X are where your users come from, it does more in one place than almost anything else, and its free plan is a fair way to judge that.
For an app on the App Store, the fit is weaker. Okara does not watch your listing, it does not publish to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Threads, Pinterest or Bluesky today, its social posts are text, and LinkedIn costs $249 a month. Spreadcast covers that part directly: it notices each update and rating milestone, designs the post with your real screenshots and publishes it to 8 networks for $29 a month. Many app makers will want exactly that, and some will want both. Our guide to iOS app marketing shows where each piece fits in a full plan.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Okara AI?
Okara AI is an AI CMO made by StreamOye Pte Ltd. You give it your website address and it writes strategy documents, then runs agents for SEO, AI search visibility, X, LinkedIn, Reddit, Hacker News, articles, UGC video, influencer campaigns and code fixes, adding drafts to a daily feed.
What is Okara AI used for?
Mostly for search and written marketing: SEO audits and fixes, tracking visibility in AI answers, articles published to your blog, daily X and LinkedIn post drafts, Reddit and Hacker News drafts, short AI videos and influencer campaigns, all driven by strategy documents built from your website.
Is Okara AI free?
There is a free plan with website analysis, strategy documents, a home page SEO audit and daily SEO and AI search recommendations, plus 5 credits once. The agents that write social posts are paid: X needs Lite at $129 a month and LinkedIn needs Pro at $249 a month.
How much does Okara AI cost?
On Okara's pricing page in October 2026: Free at $0, AI CMO Lite at $129 a month or $1,290 a year, and AI CMO Pro at $249 a month or $2,490 a year. Extra projects and the agency option are billed separately without public prices.
Does Okara AI post to Instagram or TikTok?
Not yet. Okara publishes social posts to X and LinkedIn, and its home page lists Instagram, TikTok and Slack as coming soon. Spreadcast publishes to Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, Threads, Pinterest, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram and Discord, plus YouTube for video posts.
How do Okara AI credits work?
Lite and Pro include 2,000 credits a month that do not carry over. An X post costs 5 credits, a LinkedIn post 7, a Reddit reply 8, an article 18 and a UGC video 60. Top ups cost $45 for 860 credits, $90 for 2,000 and $180 for 4,600.
Can I get a refund from Okara AI?
Usually not. Okara's refund policy says payments are not refundable in most cases, with exceptions considered for problems such as a bug after a support call. You can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of the billing period.
Does Okara AI post to Reddit automatically?
No. Okara's Reddit agent, on the Pro plan, finds threads and drafts replies, but there is no posting integration for Reddit: you copy each reply and post it yourself, which Okara says keeps your account authentic and clear of Reddit's spam filters.
How long does Okara AI take to set up?
Okara's FAQ gives 3 to 5 minutes on the free plan and 5 to 8 minutes on Pro, and its terminal documentation says initial setup usually takes 2 to 5 minutes. You can watch each step in the AI CMO Terminal while it runs.
Is Okara AI good for app makers?
It depends on your channels. Okara works from your website and covers search, X and LinkedIn well, but it does not watch your App Store listing and does not publish to Instagram, TikTok or most other visual networks today. For designed posts about each app update, Spreadcast is the more direct fit.
What is the best Okara AI alternative for an app?
For an app on the App Store, Spreadcast: it reads your listing, designs a post for each new version and rating milestone with your real screenshots, and publishes to 8 networks for $29 a month. If you need SEO and X as well, Okara Lite and Spreadcast Pro together cost $158 a month.
