What SocialPilot Is and Why People Look for SocialPilot Alternatives
SocialPilot is a social media scheduler sold in flat plans with a fixed number of accounts, built for small businesses and agencies. People look for SocialPilot alternatives for four reasons: there is no free plan, the $30 plan has no analytics or inbox, CSV uploads and client approvals start at $100 a month, and the API is kept for custom Enterprise deals.
The product itself covers the usual ground. You connect accounts, write a post once, adjust it for each network and place it in a queue or on a calendar. SocialPilot's plans page lists a content library, tags, a Repeat Post option, an AI assistant that runs on monthly credits, a browser extension, mobile apps, a social inbox, PDF reports, client approval links and white label branding, spread over four public plans. SocialPilot's own pricing file for AI agents, dated July 2026, names the ten networks it publishes to: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Threads, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, Google Business Profile and Bluesky.
The company was founded in 2014 and, per group.one's announcement of July 10, 2025, agreed that month to be acquired by group.one, the Swedish owner of one.com, WP Rocket and Rank Math. The same announcement gives SocialPilot more than 100 employees in the United States and India.
We make Spreadcast, and it comes first in this list because it is the only tool here that designs the post from your App Store listing and publishes it for you. The other nine are ranked by how directly they answer a reason for leaving SocialPilot: a free plan, a lower price for a few accounts, recycling, approvals with clients, white label for agencies, analytics, a bigger team inbox and open source code. Every price and limit below was read on the vendor's own pages on October 19, 2026, and each one links to its source.
Key Takeaways: SocialPilot Alternatives in Brief
SocialPilot Has No Free Plan
Plans run from $30 to $200 a month billed monthly, with a 14 day trial and no credit card. Buffer, Publer and Metricool each keep a free plan with no end date, and Planable gives 50 free posts with no time limit.
The $30 Plan Leaves Out Analytics
Essentials has 7 accounts and 1 user but no analytics, no social inbox and no approvals. Those start on Standard at $50, and CSV uploads, competitor reports and white label reports start on Premium at $100.
SocialPilot Is Cheap Per Account
At $50 for 15 accounts and 3 users, Standard is hard to beat for a small team. The same 15 accounts on Buffer Team cost $140, and Hootsuite Professional for 3 people costs $597 on annual billing.
Best Free Pick: Buffer
Buffer's free plan covers 3 channels with 10 scheduled posts each, a comment inbox and an API key. Publer's free plan covers 3 accounts without X, and Metricool's adds analytics for 1 brand.
Best White Label Pick: Vista Social or Sendible
Vista Social puts a white label dashboard and reports on its $449 Scale plan. Sendible sells white label as a paid add on for Elite and Enterprise. SocialPilot itself has full white label on Ultimate at $200.
Best for App Makers: Spreadcast
Spreadcast designs each post from your App Store listing, writes a caption for each network and publishes it. Free drafts your posts; Pro is $29 a month and includes design, captions and publishing to every network.
SocialPilot Pricing in 2026: Plans, Accounts and Limits
SocialPilot has four public plans and a custom Enterprise plan. Every number below comes from SocialPilot's plans page and its pricing file, read on October 19, 2026. Prices are in US dollars before tax.
| Plan | Billed monthly | Billed yearly | Accounts and users | AI credits | What the plan adds |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Essentials | $30 a month | $25.50 a month | 7 accounts, 1 user | 500 a month | Scheduling, calendar, content library, tags, Repeat Post, first comment, 5 RSS feeds. No analytics, inbox or approvals |
| Standard | $50 a month | $42.50 a month | 15 accounts, 3 users | 1,000 a month | Analytics, PDF and scheduled reports, social inbox with automation, manager approval, 10 RSS feeds |
| Premium | $100 a month | $85 a month | 25 accounts, 6 users, unlimited client seats | 5,000 a month | Bulk scheduling and CSV uploads, competitor and custom reports, white label reports, client management and client approval, watermarks |
| Ultimate | $200 a month | $170 a month | 50 accounts, unlimited users | Unlimited | Advanced white label, migration help, a dedicated account manager, enforced two factor login, 20 RSS feeds |
| Enterprise | Contact sales | Contact sales | Custom accounts, unlimited users | Unlimited | API access, single sign on, 24 by 7 support |
Add ons: an extra account is $4 a month on every plan and an extra user is $5 a month from Standard up. Yearly billing saves about 15%. Support runs 24 hours a day, 5 days a week on the four public plans.
Is SocialPilot Free? The Free Trial, Refunds and What Each Plan Leaves Out
SocialPilot is not free. There is no free plan, only a 14 day trial that needs no credit card, per SocialPilot's plans page. After the trial you pick a plan, and the cheapest way in is Essentials on yearly billing at $25.50 a month, which is $306 for the year (12 times $25.50). Twelve months at the monthly rate cost $360 (12 times $30), so the yearly plan saves $54.
Refunds are narrow, and they are written into SocialPilot's terms of use. If you forgot to cancel, or you have not used the account for more than a day after the last charge, SocialPilot will refund that latest charge in full. There are no prorated refunds once you have used the account for more than a day, and annual subscriptions are not refunded at all. A cancellation can be raised at any time but takes effect at the end of the billing cycle, and only the account owner can cancel, from the Edit Profile page or by email to support. The plans page adds that you can pause a subscription instead.
The bigger cost is in what the cheaper plans leave out. Essentials has no analytics, no social inbox and no approval workflow. Standard adds all three, but bulk scheduling and CSV uploads, competitor reports, custom reports, white label reports and client approval links wait for Premium at $100. The advanced white label setup, with your own domain, login page and email sender, waits for Ultimate at $200. So the honest answer to the question of SocialPilot pricing is $30 for one person who only schedules, $50 for a small team that wants reports, and $100 or more for an agency that shows work to clients.
The extra account price is the part that works in SocialPilot's favour. At $4 a month an account, 8 accounts on Essentials cost $34 ($30 plus $4), and 20 accounts on Standard cost $70 ($50 plus 5 times $4). Few tools on this page price an extra account that low.
SocialPilot Review: What It Does Well and Where Its Plans Stop
Searches for a SocialPilot review and for SocialPilot reviews on Reddit usually want a straight answer: is it good, and is it legit? It is a real company with more than ten years behind it and, since 2025, a large European owner. This page does not repeat star ratings from review sites. Everything here comes from SocialPilot's own pricing page, pricing file, feature pages and terms, read on October 19, 2026.
What it does well is price per account and agency features. Standard gives 15 accounts and 3 users for $50. Premium gives 25 accounts, 6 users and unlimited client seats for $100, and SocialPilot's client management page describes clients reviewing and approving posts from a link in their email, without a login. Ultimate turns the whole tool into your own product: SocialPilot's white label page lists a custom domain, a custom email sender, a branded login page, branded internal views and white labeled reports. Every paid plan also includes an official MCP server, so Claude, ChatGPT or another AI tool can create, schedule and review posts in your account, per SocialPilot's MCP server page.
Where it stops is also on its own pages. There is no free plan. Analytics and the inbox are missing from the entry plan. CSV uploads start at $100, where SocialBee has them at $49 and Buffer has them on every plan. The API is for Enterprise customers only. Telegram, Mastodon and Snapchat are not among its ten networks. And the plans page lists no recycling by content category, only a Repeat Post option.
So it is worth it for an agency or a local business owner who runs many accounts and wants low seat and account prices. It is a weaker fit if you want to start for free, if one person needs analytics without paying $50, or if a script should do the posting without an Enterprise contract.

How We Picked These SocialPilot Alternatives
We picked the ten tools people actually set beside SocialPilot. Google's search suggestions on October 19, 2026 showed SocialPilot vs Planable, SocialPilot vs SocialBee, SocialPilot vs Buffer, SocialPilot vs Hootsuite, SocialPilot vs Metricool and SocialPilot vs Sendible, along with searches for a free SocialPilot alternative and for SocialPilot white label pricing. Publer, Vista Social and Postiz came from the same space: schedulers sold to small businesses and agencies at a similar price.
Eight things decided the order: who makes the post, whether there is a free plan, the price for a solo setup, a small team and an agency, whether analytics and an inbox come with the entry plan, how approvals work, whether white label is offered and at what plan, which networks are on the vendor's own list, and whether an API or MCP server is open to customers. Spreadcast is first because it is the only tool that makes the post; the page says where it stops.
We kept only facts we could read on the vendor's own pages on October 19, 2026: pricing pages, pricing files written for AI agents, help center articles and integration pages. Where a page did not say something, the tables say Not stated instead of guessing. We did not score ease of use or customer support, which are matters of taste. Use the trials for that.

The 10 Best SocialPilot Alternatives, With Prices, Pros and Cons
Spreadcast is ours and comes first, because it is the only tool here that designs the post from your App Store listing and publishes it for you. The nine after it are ranked by how directly they answer a reason for leaving SocialPilot: free and cheaper schedulers first, then recycling and approvals, then the agency tools with white label, then analytics, a large team inbox and open source.
- 1
Spreadcast
Free drafts your posts; Pro is $29 a month with design, captions and publishing includedBest for app makers: it designs your app's posts and publishes them for you
Spreadcast is ours, and it starts where SocialPilot stops. SocialPilot publishes the posts you bring. Spreadcast makes them: you paste your App Store link once at the start page, it checks the listing every day, and each new version becomes an update post with your own screenshot in an iPhone frame, a headline and two or three points from the release notes, written in the language of those notes. A rating milestone becomes a thank you post. Every design uses your icon, screenshots and colors, plus the logo and fonts from your website.
Spreadcast then writes a caption for each network and puts the post in the next free slot on a calendar, where you can drag it to another day. By default each post waits for one tap of approval; on paid plans you can switch to full autopilot, which schedules posts for nine in the morning in your time zone. It publishes to Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, Threads, Pinterest, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram and Discord, plus YouTube for video posts, and Instagram carousels go out as real carousels. Review quote posts from a real 5 star review, carousels of 3 to 8 slides, and text or picture posts are made on demand in Create, and you can upload your own pictures and video.
Compare what the money buys. SocialPilot Essentials is $30 a month for 7 accounts where you write and design every post, and analytics start at $50. Spreadcast Pro is $29 a month for 1 app and 10 social accounts and includes the design, the captions and the publishing, with analytics that show interactions, new followers, taps on your App Store link, which networks and kinds of post work best, and the best day and time to post. Studio is $79 a month for 5 apps, each with its own brand and accounts, 50 social accounts and 3 seats. The free plan makes 3 posts for 1 app to download, with a small Spreadcast mark, and there is a full refund within 7 days on paid plans. See Spreadcast's plans for the details.
There is also an MCP server for Claude and ChatGPT that lets an AI assistant design posts, write captions and save drafts in your account. It works with Claude, Claude Code, Cursor and ChatGPT, where write actions need a Business, Enterprise or Edu workspace, and it saves drafts by default. If you already run SocialPilot for clients, keep it for them and let Spreadcast run the recurring posts for your own app. Our page for mobile app teams shows how that looks.
Pros
- Designs each post from your listing, screenshots and colors
- Publishes to 8 networks with a caption written for each
- One tap approval by default, full autopilot on paid plans
- Pro includes design, captions and publishing for $29 a month
- MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code and Cursor
Cons
- Built for apps on the Apple App Store
- No social inbox, so keep another tool for replies
- 2
Buffer
Free for 3 channels, then $6 per channel a monthBest free SocialPilot alternative
Buffer answers the most common reason for leaving: SocialPilot has no free plan, and Buffer's has no end date. Buffer's pricing file lists a Free plan with up to 3 channels, 10 scheduled posts per channel at one time, 1 user, an AI Assistant, 30 days of insights, a community inbox for replying to comments and an API key with 3,000 requests a month. A slot refills when its post publishes, so a founder who posts a few times a week on three networks may never pay.
Paid plans are priced per channel with volume tiers. Essentials is $6 per channel a month for channels 1 to 10 and $4 for channels 11 to 25, and Team, which adds unlimited users, approval workflows and branded reports, is $12 and then $4. Yearly billing is listed as about two months off: Essentials for 5 channels is $30 a month or $25 a month billed yearly. Buffer's pricing was last changed in November 2025, per the same file.
SocialPilot vs Buffer comes down to people and accounts. For one person with 7 accounts, Buffer Essentials is $42 (7 times $6) and SocialPilot Essentials is $30, but Buffer includes unlimited analytics history where SocialPilot's $30 plan has none. For 3 people with 15 accounts, Buffer Team is $140 (10 times $12 plus 5 times $4) against $50 for SocialPilot Standard. Buffer is free up to 3 channels, cheaper at 4 ($24), level at 5 ($30), and dearer from 6 channels up, where SocialPilot Essentials stays at $30 for 7.
Bulk uploads are a clear Buffer win: Buffer's bulk upload guide says CSV upload works on every plan, Free included, with up to 100 posts per channel per upload on paid plans. SocialPilot keeps CSV uploads for Premium at $100. Our list of Buffer alternatives covers what to use when Buffer's per channel price climbs.
Pros
- A free plan for 3 channels with no end date
- API access and a comment inbox on every plan
- CSV bulk upload on every plan
- Unlimited users and approvals on Team
Cons
- Price climbs per channel: $140 a month for 15 channels on Team
- No white label dashboard, only branded reports
- No Telegram among its channels
- 3
Publer
Free for 3 accounts, then from $5 a month for 1 accountBest for a low price on a few accounts
Publer charges for the accounts you connect, which makes it the cheapest paid route off SocialPilot for a very small setup. Publer's plans and pricing article lists a Free plan for 1 user with up to 3 social accounts, excluding X, 10 scheduled posts at a time per account and a Linkie link in bio page. Professional starts at $5 a month for 1 account and Business at $10, and every tenth account or member is free.
Professional adds X, unlimited scheduling and drafts, unlimited workspaces, bulk scheduling, unlimited RSS automations and team members as paid extras, with a 7 day trial. Business adds unlimited AI Assist prompts, analytics with downloadable reports, competitor analysis, automatic post recycling, recurring posts, approval workflows, and access to Publer's API and MCP server for eligible Business customers, with a 14 day trial. Yearly billing takes 20% off. The exact price for more than one account comes from the selector on Publer's pricing page, so check your own number there before you compare.
Publer reaches further than SocialPilot. Publer's list of supported networks names Facebook pages, groups and personal profiles, Instagram business accounts, X, LinkedIn profiles and pages, Pinterest, Google Business Profile locations, YouTube, WordPress, TikTok, Telegram groups and channels, Mastodon, Threads and Bluesky. Telegram, Mastodon and WordPress are not on SocialPilot's list.
The trade is in the agency features. The pages we read list no client seats, no white label and no client approval links of the kind SocialPilot Premium has. Our Publer comparison goes deeper.
Pros
- A free plan for 3 accounts with no end date
- From $5 a month for 1 account, and every tenth account free
- Publishes to Telegram, Mastodon and WordPress
- Recycling, analytics and approvals on Business
Cons
- No X on the free plan
- API and MCP only for eligible Business customers
- No white label on the pages we read
- 4
SocialBee
From $29 a month for 5 profilesBest for evergreen posts that recycle by category
SocialPilot vs SocialBee is one of the comparisons Google suggests, and the two are close in price. SocialBee's pricing page lists Bootstrap at $29 a month ($290 a year) for 5 profiles and 1 user, Accelerate at $49 ($490 a year) for 10 profiles, and Pro at $99 ($990 a year) for 25 profiles across 5 workspaces with 3 users per workspace. Every plan has a 14 day trial with no card, and the page promises a 30 day money back guarantee.
The draw is content categories. You sort posts into folders, put the folders on a weekly schedule, and SocialBee recycles evergreen posts or expires them after a number of shares or on a date. Bootstrap includes 10 categories, 10 RSS sources, unlimited AI content generation, AI Copilot and 3 months of analytics. Accelerate adds CSV uploads, the bulk post editor, post approval and 2 years of analytics. Add ons are $15 a month for 5 more profiles and $10 for each extra user or workspace.
The inbox comes on every plan: comments, mentions and DMs for Facebook Pages and Instagram business profiles, comments and mentions for Threads, LinkedIn company pages and X, and YouTube comments. SocialBee posts directly to Facebook, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, Google Business Profile and Bluesky, and handles Telegram, WhatsApp and Mastodon by reminder through its mobile app.
Agencies have Pro50 at $179 a month for 50 profiles and 10 workspaces with 5 users each, and larger tiers above it. The pricing page lists no white label option, so an agency that resells under its own name stays with SocialPilot or one of the agency tools below. The full comparison is in the SocialPilot vs SocialBee section further down, and our SocialBee alternatives page covers the rest of that field.
Pros
- Analytics and an inbox on the $29 plan
- Recycling with expiry rules on every plan
- CSV uploads and approvals from $49
- A 30 day money back guarantee
Cons
- No free plan
- 1 user on the two cheaper plans
- No white label on the pricing page
- 5
Planable
50 free posts, then from $39 per workspace a monthBest for approvals with clients and unlimited users
Planable prices by workspace instead of by account or seat, and every workspace has unlimited users. Approvals are what Planable is built around. Basic offers no approval or optional approval. Enterprise adds multi level approvals that pass a post from team lead to client to legal. Every plan includes an MCP connector, AI post writing, first comment scheduling and recurring posts.
Analytics, the inbox and listening are add ons per workspace: Analytics at $14 a month, Social Inbox at $9 and Social Listening at $99, each with a 30 day trial. Planable schedules to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, Google Business Profile and Threads. Bluesky is not on that list, and Basic publishes one post to X every 24 hours.

Full white label costs $200 on SocialPilot Ultimate with 50 accounts and unlimited users, and $449 on Vista Scale with 70 profiles and 4 users. Hootsuite
From $99 per user a month on annual billingBest for big teams that need a full inbox and listening
Hootsuite is where a team goes when SocialPilot's inbox and reports are no longer enough. Professional is $199 with unlimited accounts, automated inbox replies and custom reports, and Advanced is $399 with approval workflows, message routing and your own logo on reports.
On price SocialPilot vs Hootsuite is not close. Three people with 15 accounts cost $50 a month on SocialPilot Standard. On Hootsuite, 15 accounts need Professional, and three seats cost $597 a month (3 times $199) on annual billing. Approvals cost $1,197 a month for the same three people on Advanced (3 times $399).
What the difference buys is depth around the post: listening with trend forecasts up to 90 days ahead on Professional, routing a message to the right teammate, satisfaction surveys and team productivity reports on Advanced. The trial is 14 days with no card, posting is limited to 10 to 20 posts per organization a day during the trial, and bulk scheduling is not available until you pay.

Postiz
Free to self host, hosted from $29 a monthBest open source SocialPilot alternative with an API
Postiz is the open source route. The Postiz repository is licensed under AGPL 3.0 and showed 37.4k stars on October 19, 2026, so you can run it on your own server with no license fee. It also fills the gap SocialPilot leaves for developers: every hosted plan includes the public API, webhooks, a CLI and an MCP server, where SocialPilot keeps its API for Enterprise.
The Postiz pricing page lists Standard at $29 a month for 5 channels without team members, Team at $39 for 10 channels with unlimited team members, Pro at $49 for 30 channels and Ultimate at $99 for 100 channels. On annual billing those are $23, $31, $39 and $79 a month. Every plan lists unlimited posts, repeated posts for evergreen content, RSS auto posting, analytics and customer groups for sorting channels by client, and every plan starts with a 7 day trial.
Reach is the widest on this page. The Postiz channel list includes Facebook, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, Bluesky, X, TikTok, YouTube, Google Business Profile, Reddit, Telegram, Discord, Slack, Pinterest, Mastodon, Twitch and WordPress, among others.
Two things go missing on the way. The pricing page lists no inbox and no white label, so client service and branded reporting stay elsewhere. And self hosting is free in license terms only: you pay for the server and, on most networks, register a developer app of your own. Our page on Postiz alternatives covers what that takes.
Pros
- Open source under AGPL 3.0
- API, webhooks and MCP on every hosted plan
- 30 channels for $49 a month
- Publishes to Telegram, Reddit and Discord
Cons
- No inbox and no white label on the pricing page
- Standard has no team members
- Self hosting needs a server and developer apps
SocialPilot vs Planable: Price per Account or Price per Client
SocialPilot vs Planable is a choice between two ways of paying. SocialPilot sells bundles of accounts and users: Standard is $50 for 15 accounts and 3 users, Premium $100 for 25 accounts, 6 users and unlimited client seats. Planable sells workspaces with unlimited users: $39 a month for Basic with 4 pages, or $59 for Pro with 10 pages and required approvals, per Planable's pricing file.
Take a small agency with 5 clients, 4 accounts each and a team of 5 that needs client approval and reports. On SocialPilot that is Premium at $100 a month: 25 accounts, 6 users, client approval links, white label reports and analytics included. On Planable it is 5 workspaces. With Basic, approval can only be optional, so the post can go out unapproved; for required approval you need Pro at $295 (5 times $59), and the analytics add on brings it to $365 (plus 5 times $14). For this agency SocialPilot is $265 a month cheaper ($365 minus $100).
Planable wins on people and on the way it handles feedback. Users are unlimited, so a client with ten stakeholders costs nothing more. Comments, text annotations, suggested edits and version history sit on the post itself, team only drafts stay hidden from clients on Pro, and Enterprise chains approval steps in the order you set. Planable also has a public API on Pro, where SocialPilot keeps its API for Enterprise.
SocialPilot wins on limits and networks. Its plans page lists no monthly post cap, where Planable caps a workspace at 60 or 150 posts a month. It publishes to Bluesky, which Planable does not list, and its inbox is part of Standard instead of a $9 add on per workspace. Both tools include an MCP server for AI assistants. The short answer: choose Planable when approvals involve many people and few posts, and SocialPilot when you run many accounts and post often.

SocialPilot vs SocialBee: Accounts per Dollar or Features per Dollar
SocialPilot vs SocialBee looks like a tie at the entry price and splits quickly after it. SocialPilot Essentials is $30 a month for 7 accounts. SocialBee Bootstrap is $29 a month for 5 profiles, per SocialBee's pricing page. Per account, SocialPilot is cheaper: about $4.29 ($30 divided by 7) against $5.80 ($29 divided by 5).
Per feature, SocialBee is ahead at that price. Bootstrap includes 3 months of analytics, an inbox for comments, mentions and DMs, 10 content categories with recycling and expiry rules, and 10 RSS sources. SocialPilot Essentials has no analytics and no inbox; both start on Standard at $50. CSV uploads and post approval start at $49 on SocialBee Accelerate, while SocialPilot puts approvals on Standard at $50 and CSV uploads on Premium at $100.
Then the sums turn again with people. SocialPilot Standard gives 15 accounts and 3 users for $50. SocialBee Accelerate gives 10 profiles and 1 user for $49, and reaching 15 profiles and 3 users costs $84 ($49 plus $15 for 5 profiles plus 2 users at $10 each) or $99 on Pro. For agencies, SocialPilot Premium has client seats and white label reports at $100, and Ultimate has full white label at $200, where SocialBee's pricing page lists no white label at all.
Two smaller differences decide some cases. SocialBee posts to Telegram, WhatsApp and Mastodon only by reminder on your phone, and SocialPilot does not list them. And the refund terms differ: SocialBee promises a 30 day money back guarantee on its pricing page, while SocialPilot's terms refund only a charge you forgot to cancel or did not use for more than a day, and never an annual plan. Choose SocialBee for one person with a library of evergreen posts, and SocialPilot for a team or agency that counts accounts and seats.

Which Networks Each SocialPilot Alternative Publishes To
We checked 11 networks on each vendor's own list: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Threads, Pinterest, Bluesky, YouTube, X, Google Business Profile and Telegram. Read this table if one network decides the move.
| Tool | Publishes to | Not on the vendor's list |
|---|---|---|
| Spreadcast | Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn (personal profile), Facebook, Threads, Pinterest, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram and Discord, plus YouTube for video posts | YouTube, X, Google Business Profile |
| SocialPilot (baseline) | Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Threads, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, Google Business Profile and Bluesky | Telegram |
| Buffer | Ten of the 11, plus Mastodon. YouTube as Shorts | Telegram |
| Publer | All 11, plus Mastodon and WordPress. X on paid plans only | None |
| SocialBee | Ten of the 11 directly | Telegram, which works by reminder on your phone |
| Planable | Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, Google Business Profile and Threads | Bluesky, Telegram |
| Vista Social | Ten of the 11, plus Snapchat and Tumblr. X as a $29 add on | Telegram |
| Sendible | Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Google Business Profile and Threads | Pinterest, Bluesky, YouTube and Telegram are not named on the pages we read |
| Metricool | Ten of the 11, plus Twitch. LinkedIn on paid plans, X as a $10 add on | Telegram |
| Hootsuite | Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Threads, Pinterest and Bluesky | Google Business Profile and Telegram are not on its network list |
| Postiz | All 11, plus Reddit, Discord, Mastodon and Twitch among others | None |
Account types differ inside a network: a Facebook group, a personal Instagram profile or a LinkedIn personal profile may publish only by reminder, or not at all, depending on the tool. Check your own account types before you move.
What SocialPilot and Each Alternative Cost for Three Real Setups
Three setups, priced on each vendor's own page in US dollars before tax on monthly billing, unless the cell says otherwise. Solo: 1 brand, 7 accounts, 1 person. Team: 3 brands with 5 accounts each, 3 people, approvals and analytics. Agency: 10 clients, 50 accounts, 6 people, reports in your own brand.
| Tool | Solo: 7 accounts, 1 person | Team: 15 accounts, 3 people | Agency: 50 accounts, 6 people |
|---|---|---|---|
| Spreadcast | Pro: $29 for 1 app, with design, captions and publishing included | Studio: $79 if the 3 brands are apps, with 5 apps, 50 accounts and 3 seats | Not built for client agencies |
| SocialPilot (baseline) | Essentials: $30, no analytics | Standard: $50, analytics, inbox and approvals included | Ultimate: $200, unlimited users and full white label |
| Buffer | Essentials: $42 (7 times $6) | Team: $140 (10 times $12 plus 5 times $4) | Team: $255 for 50 channels, branded reports |
| SocialBee | Bootstrap plus 5 profiles: $44 ($29 plus $15) | Pro: $99, 25 profiles, 5 workspaces, 3 users each | Pro50: $179, no white label |
| Planable | Pro: $59 (Basic holds 4 pages) | 3 Pro workspaces plus Analytics: $219 (3 times $59 plus 3 times $14) | 10 Pro workspaces plus Analytics: $730 before any volume discount |
| Vista Social | Professional: $99 | Advanced: $199 (Professional has 2 users) | Scale: $449 with 4 users included |
| Sendible | Core: $35 for 6 profiles, so a 7th needs an extra workspace or Plus at $99 | Plus: $99, 3 workspaces, unlimited users | Elite: $299 for 15 workspaces, white label extra |
| Metricool | Starter: $25 if each account is on a different network | Advanced: $67 for team roles and approvals | Advanced: $67 for up to 15 brands, white label on Custom |
| Hootsuite (annual billing) | Standard: $99 | Professional: $597 (3 times $199) | Advanced: $2,394 (6 times $399) for your logo on reports |
| Postiz | Team: $39 (Standard holds 5 channels) | Pro: $49, 30 channels | Ultimate: $99, 100 channels, no white label |
Publer is left out because its price for more than one account comes from a selector, not a list; it starts at $5 a month for 1 account on Professional and $10 on Business. Planable offers volume discounts from 5 workspaces on request.
SocialPilot Pricing Against the Alternatives: What the Three Setups Show
For a team or an agency, SocialPilot is close to the cheapest tool on this page, and the arithmetic says so. Three people with 15 accounts pay $50 a month on Standard. The nearest rival with approvals and analytics included is Metricool Advanced at $67, then SocialBee Pro and Sendible Plus at $99, Buffer Team at $140, Vista Social Advanced at $199, Planable at $219 and Hootsuite at $597.
The agency setup tells the same story. SocialPilot Ultimate gives 50 accounts, unlimited users and a full white label setup for $200 a month. Premium plus 25 extra accounts also costs $200 ($100 plus 25 times $4), with 6 users and white label reports, so Ultimate is the better buy at that size. Vista Social Scale is $449 with 4 users, Sendible Elite is $299 before its white label fee, and Hootsuite Advanced for 6 people is $2,394 a month on annual billing.
The solo setup is where SocialPilot loses its lead. One person with 7 accounts pays $30 for Essentials, but that plan has no analytics. Metricool Starter at $25 includes the full analytics history, SocialBee Bootstrap with an extra 5 profiles at $44 includes analytics and an inbox, and Buffer is free up to 3 channels. If you want to see how your posts did, the real SocialPilot price for one person is Standard at $50.
None of these figures includes the work of making the posts. Every scheduler price above buys a queue you fill. For an app founder, Spreadcast Pro includes the design, the captions and the publishing for $29 a month, which is why it sits first in the solo column. Our guide on how to promote an app on social media explains what to post if you do it by hand.
Best SocialPilot Alternatives by Need
The best SocialPilot alternatives are different tools for different jobs. Find your case and start there.
Best for App Makers: Spreadcast
If you ship an iPhone app and nobody has time to design posts, Spreadcast turns each App Store update and rating milestone into a designed post and publishes it on 8 networks. Free drafts your posts; Pro is $29 a month and includes design, captions and publishing to every network. Paste your link at the start page to see the first post.
Best Free SocialPilot Alternative: Buffer
Three channels, 10 scheduled posts each, a comment inbox, CSV upload and an API key for $0 with no end date. Publer's free plan also covers 3 accounts without X, and Metricool's covers 1 brand with 20 posts a month and analytics.
Best for Small Businesses: SocialPilot Standard or Metricool
If you already like SocialPilot, Standard at $50 for 15 accounts and 3 users is fair value. If you want analytics for less, Metricool Starter is $25 for up to 5 brands with full history and PDF reports.
Best for Agencies With White Label: Vista Social
Scale at $449 a month brands the dashboard and reports, adds client profile connect links and bundles review management and a link in bio page. Sendible's white label is a paid add on for Elite and Enterprise. See our page on agency social media tools.
Best for Client Approvals: Planable
Unlimited users in every workspace, required approval on Pro at $59 a month per workspace, and multi level approvals on Enterprise. Comments and suggested edits sit on the post itself.
Best for Evergreen Recycling: SocialBee
Content categories that recycle and expire, with analytics and an inbox on the $29 plan and approvals from $49.
Best for Big Teams With an Inbox: Hootsuite
One inbox, monitoring and benchmarking from $99 per user a month on annual billing, with routing and approvals on Advanced.
Best Open Source Option: Postiz
Free to self host under AGPL 3.0, or $29 a month hosted, with an API, webhooks and an MCP server on every plan.
SocialPilot White Label Pricing and the Agency Alternatives
SocialPilot white label pricing has two steps. White label reports, with your logo and colors on the analytics PDFs sent to clients, start on Premium at $100 a month. The full setup, which SocialPilot's white label page describes as a custom domain, a custom email sender, a branded login page and branded internal views, is the Advanced White Label feature on Ultimate at $200 a month. The plans page FAQ adds that accounts using white label cannot use the Slack integration.
Among the alternatives, only three offer a white label dashboard on a public price list, and none is cheaper. Vista Social brands the dashboard and reports on Scale at $449 a month. Sendible sells white label as a paid add on for Elite at $299 and Enterprise at $750, and its FAQ puts white label pricing from $349 a month on Elite. Metricool keeps white label for its Custom plan with no public price. Buffer Team and Hootsuite Advanced put your brand on reports only.
So for an agency that resells social media management under its own name, SocialPilot Ultimate is the price to beat at $200, and the reason to leave is not cost. Agencies switch for features around the post: Vista Social for reviews, DM automations and a link in bio page, Sendible for unlimited users across many client workspaces, Planable for stricter approvals with clients.

What Is New at SocialPilot: Ownership, an MCP Server and Plan Names
Three changes matter if you last looked at SocialPilot a year or two ago. First, ownership: group.one, which serves more than 2 million customers through brands such as one.com, WP Rocket and Rank Math, announced on July 10, 2025 that it had agreed to acquire SocialPilot Technologies Inc. The announcement quotes both cofounders, Jimit Bagadiya and Tejas Mehta, and talks of bringing SocialPilot to more customers in Europe.
Second, the MCP server. SocialPilot now lets Claude, ChatGPT or any other MCP client connect to your account, create and schedule posts, save drafts for review and see what is queued, published or missed. SocialPilot's pricing file says it is included on all paid plans, which makes AI scheduling available on the $30 plan even though the API is not.
Third, the plan lineup. The four public plans are Essentials, Standard, Premium and Ultimate, and the pricing file, last updated in July 2026, lists Bluesky and Threads among the ten networks and a 15% saving for yearly billing. If an older review quotes other plan names or account counts, trust the plans page instead.
What No Scheduler on This List Does: Make the Post
Every tool on this page except one publishes what you bring. SocialPilot's AI Pilot, SocialBee's Copilot and Buffer's AI Assistant can draft a caption when you ask, and that helps. None of them watches your product and decides that today there is something worth posting, then lays out the image for you.
For an agency with a client calendar, that is fine; making the posts is the job. For an app founder it is the whole problem. The posts worth making are events: version 4.1 shipped, the app passed a rating milestone. Somebody has to notice, open an editor, place a screenshot in a phone frame, write a caption for each network and schedule it. A cheaper queue does not shorten that list.
Spreadcast does that part. It reads your App Store listing every day, designs the update or milestone post in your brand, writes the captions and publishes it, after one tap or on full autopilot. It has real limits, and you should know them before you sign up: it works for apps on the Apple App Store only, and Google Play links are not supported yet; it has no social inbox, no CSV upload and no X posting; and it is not a scheduler for an agency with dozens of client brands. If that is your work, SocialPilot, Vista Social or Sendible is the better fit, and Spreadcast can sit beside them for your own app. For the wider field of tools that create posts, see our roundup of AI social media post generators.
How to Switch From SocialPilot to Another Tool
Move in this order and keep SocialPilot running until the new tool has published for a week. Mind the refund rules: monthly plans are refunded only in narrow cases and annual plans not at all, so time the cancellation to your billing date.
- Step 1
List Every Account, Group and Client
Write down each connected account, the groups you post to together, the clients and who approves for each one. Connections never move between tools, so this list is your checklist for reconnecting later.
- Step 2
Save Your Reports First
On Standard and above, download the PDF reports you need for past months before you lose access. Essentials has no analytics, so there is nothing to save there; take screenshots of anything you track by hand.
- Step 3
Copy Posts You Still Plan to Use
Copy the scheduled posts and the content library items you want to keep into a spreadsheet. Then match the new tool's import format: Buffer takes up to 100 posts per channel in one CSV file on paid plans, SocialBee takes CSV files from Accelerate, and Publer, Sendible and Vista Social include bulk scheduling on their entry paid plans.
- Step 4
Reconnect Accounts and Rebuild the Workflow
Sign in to each network again from the new tool and approve access. Then rebuild approvals: in Planable choose the approval type for each workspace, in Sendible assign approvers from Plus, and in Vista Social set up the post workflow.
- Step 5
Run Both Tools for a Week
Pause the SocialPilot queue for the accounts the new tool now covers, so nothing goes out twice. The plans page FAQ says you can also pause the whole subscription for a while instead of cancelling.
- Step 6
Cancel at the End of the Billing Cycle
Only the account owner can cancel, from the Edit Profile page or by email to SocialPilot support from the registered address. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing cycle, per SocialPilot's terms.
- Step 7
Moving to Spreadcast Needs No Import
Paste your App Store link at the start page, connect the networks you post to and choose one tap approval or full autopilot. The posts come from your listing, so there is no library to carry over.
When SocialPilot Is Still the Right Choice
Plenty of people who read a list of SocialPilot competitors should stay. SocialPilot is the cheapest tool on this page for a team of 3 with 15 accounts, at $50 a month with analytics, an inbox and approvals included. It is also the cheapest public price for a full white label setup, at $200 a month with 50 accounts and unlimited users on Ultimate.
It is the right choice for an agency that serves many small local clients, because client seats, client approval links without a login and white label reports all come on Premium at $100. Extra accounts at $4 a month keep growth cheap. And every paid plan now has an MCP server, so an AI assistant can schedule for you without an Enterprise contract.
Switch when you hit a real wall: you need a free plan (Buffer, Publer or Metricool), you are one person who wants analytics for less (Metricool or SocialBee), many reviewers need unlimited seats (Planable or Sendible), you want reviews and a link in bio page in the same tool (Vista Social), you need an API without a sales call (Buffer or Postiz), or you make an app and nobody has time to design posts (Spreadcast).

It depends on why you are leaving. For a free plan, Buffer covers 3 channels. For client approvals with unlimited users, Planable. For white label with reviews and an inbox, Vista Social. If you make an iPhone app, Spreadcast designs the posts from your App Store listing and publishes them for you.
Is SocialPilot free?
No. SocialPilot has a 14 day free trial without a credit card and no free plan. Paid plans start at $30 a month, or $25.50 a month billed yearly, per SocialPilot's plans page.
How much does SocialPilot cost?
Essentials is $30 a month for 7 accounts, Standard $50 for 15, Premium $100 for 25 and Ultimate $200 for 50, billed monthly. Yearly billing saves about 15%. Extra accounts are $4 a month and extra users $5 a month.
Is there a free SocialPilot alternative?

SocialPilot vs Planable: which is better for agencies?
SocialPilot is cheaper when you run many accounts: Premium is $100 a month for 25 accounts with client approval. Planable is better when many people review few posts, because users are unlimited and Pro at $59 per workspace a month requires approval before a post goes out.
SocialPilot vs SocialBee: which should I choose?
SocialBee gives more on the entry plan: analytics, an inbox and recycling for $29 a month. SocialPilot gives more accounts and seats per dollar, with 15 accounts and 3 users for $50, plus client seats and white label on higher plans, which SocialBee's pricing page does not list.
Does SocialPilot have white label?
Yes. White label reports start on Premium at $100 a month, and the full white label setup with your own domain, login page and email sender is on Ultimate at $200 a month.
Does SocialPilot have an API?
Only on the custom Enterprise plan. Every paid plan includes SocialPilot's MCP server, which lets AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT create and schedule posts in your account.
Can I get a refund from SocialPilot?
Only in narrow cases. SocialPilot's terms refund the latest charge if you forgot to cancel or did not use the account for more than a day after it. There are no prorated refunds, and annual subscriptions are not refunded.
How do I cancel my SocialPilot subscription?
The account owner cancels from the Edit Profile page, or by emailing SocialPilot support from the registered address. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing cycle, and you can pause the subscription instead.
Which networks does SocialPilot support?
Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Threads, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, Google Business Profile and Bluesky. Telegram and Mastodon are not on its list; Publer and Postiz publish to both.
Who owns SocialPilot?
group.one, a Swedish company behind one.com, WP Rocket and Rank Math, announced on July 10, 2025 that it had agreed to acquire SocialPilot Technologies Inc. SocialPilot was founded in 2014.
