Is Ocoya Still Operating in 2026, and What Is It Now?
Yes. We opened Ocoya's website on October 12, 2026. It carries a 2026 copyright notice from UAB Ocoya, three plans with working trial buttons, and several features and integrations marked as new. The company describes the product in five words: "Social media management. Using AI."
The input is short. You describe your brand in one sentence and Ocoya stores a brand kit with your voice, colors and audience. After that you type a prompt, drop a link or pick a goal, and it writes the caption, makes the visual and adds hashtags. Captions can be translated into 37 languages, and the visuals include images, carousels and short video.
Around that sits a full suite: a calendar that picks posting times, campaigns that turn one prompt into a run of posts, a Social Inbox with replies drafted by AI, visual workflows, link in bio pages and analytics. The newest part is for developers. Ocoya has a REST API and an MCP server, so Claude or ChatGPT can create and schedule posts in your account.
It publishes to 23 destinations. The list covers Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Bluesky, Threads, YouTube Shorts, Google Business and TikTok, and continues with Telegram, Slack, Discord, Mastodon, Dribbble, Kick, Twitch, Whop, DEV.to, WordPress, Tumblr, WooCommerce and a custom endpoint.
Ocoya also keeps a detailed help center, and it is the source for the credit costs, trial terms and cancellation steps further down this page. In a few places the help center and the marketing pages say different things. Where they do, we show both.

Is Ocoya Legit? Who Runs It and Where It Is Based
Yes. Ocoya is a registered company with a working product. Ocoya's terms of service name the provider as UAB Ocoya, a Lithuanian company with company code 305673313 and a registered address in Vilnius. The terms fall under Lithuanian law, consumers keep the protection of the law where they live, and the same page lists a support email and postal address.
There are other signs you can check yourself. The site links a public Ocoya status page with uptime and incident history. The help center holds more than 100 articles, including frank ones on what Ocoya cannot import or export. Its own comparison pages admit where Buffer and Hootsuite do better, which the short answers further down quote.
Two cautions before you trust any single review. The pricing page and the help center disagree on whether the trial needs a card, as the trial section explains, so read the checkout screen. And Ocoya pays affiliates a recurring share of every subscription they refer, covered in the login and promo code section below, so a glowing review with a referral link is not a neutral one.
Ocoya Pricing and Spreadcast Pricing in October 2026
Ocoya sells three plans and a custom tier. Yearly billing costs ten months instead of twelve. Spreadcast sells by the number of apps. The two entry plans cost the same $29 a month: Ocoya Starter covers 5 social profiles and 300 credits for posts you prompt, and Spreadcast Pro covers all 8 networks with every post designed and published for you.
| Plan | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Ocoya Starter | $29 a month, or $290 a year | 1 user, 5 social profiles, 300 credits a month |
| Ocoya Team | $79 a month, or $790 a year | 5 users, 20 social profiles, 1,500 credits a month |
| Ocoya Agency | $199 a month, or $1,990 a year | 20 users, 100 social profiles, 5,000 credits a month |
| Spreadcast Free | $0 | 1 app. Spreadcast designs a post for every update, 5 star review and rating milestone, ready to download with a small Spreadcast mark on each |
| Spreadcast Pro | $29 a month flat | 1 app. Spreadcast designs each post, writes a caption for each network and publishes to 8 networks for you, on full autopilot or after one tap approval |
| Spreadcast Studio | $79 a month | 5 apps, each with its own brand, and 3 seats, with the same design and publishing |
Ocoya numbers are from Ocoya's pricing page, checked on October 12, 2026. Spreadcast numbers are on the Spreadcast pricing page.
Ocoya Pricing by Plan: Monthly, Yearly and Every Limit
The plan cards show three numbers each. This table adds what the help center says about them and works out the price of one social profile and one credit, so you can see which limit you would hit first.
| Limit | Starter | Team | Agency |
|---|---|---|---|
| Billed monthly | $29 a month | $79 a month | $199 a month |
| Billed yearly | $290 a year (about $24 a month) | $790 a year (about $66 a month) | $1,990 a year (about $166 a month) |
| Users | 1 | 5 | 20 |
| Social profiles | 5 | 20 | 100 |
| Credits a month | 300 | 1,500 | 5,000 |
| Brands | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Monthly price for each social profile | $29 divided by 5 is $5.80 | $79 divided by 20 is $3.95 | $199 divided by 100 is $1.99 |
| Monthly price for each credit | $29 divided by 300 is about 10 cents | $79 divided by 1,500 is about 5 cents | $199 divided by 5,000 is about 4 cents |
| What happens at the limit | A sixth profile is refused until you upgrade | A sixth user gets an upgrade prompt | Larger accounts ask for a custom plan |
Limits are from Ocoya's help page on plans and limits, which counts every connected channel as one profile, so a Facebook Page and an Instagram account are two. Older accounts may sit on a legacy plan (Bronze at $19, Silver at $49, Gold at $99 or Diamond at $199 a month). Ocoya's help page on legacy plans says those keep working, are closed to new subscribers, and that moving to a current plan cannot be undone.
Is Ocoya AI Free? How the 7 Day Free Trial Works
Ocoya AI is not free past the trial. Ocoya's pricing page lists no free plan as of October 2026. Every plan starts with a 7 day free trial with full access to the plan you picked, including its monthly credits.
The two Ocoya sources disagree on the card. The pricing page says no credit card is required to get started, and its FAQ says that at the end of the trial you are prompted to pick a plan and add billing details, or your brand is paused with your scheduled posts saved. Ocoya's help page on the free trial says you do enter card details, nothing is charged on the day you start, and the card is charged for the plan you chose when the seven days end. Read the checkout screen before you confirm, and treat the renewal date under Billing as your deadline.
Cancelling early has a cost of its own. The same help page says cancelling during the trial ends it at once: the account drops to 1 brand and 1 user with no connected channels and no credits. That leftover free tier cannot publish or generate anything, so it is a parking spot for your drafts and no more.
Spreadcast has a free plan where Ocoya has a trial. It designs a post for every update, 5 star review and rating milestone of one app, ready to download, for as long as you like.
Two smaller points for people hunting a discount. Only monthly and yearly billing appear on the pricing page, so if you are searching for an Ocoya lifetime deal or an Ocoya promo code, the page offers neither today. The discounts it does name are yearly billing, which saves two months, and a reduced rate for nonprofits that write to support with proof of status.
Ocoya Login, App Download, Promo Code and Customer Service
You log in at app.ocoya.com. Ocoya's login guide lists three ways in: a magic link sent to your email, which is the default and expires after 10 minutes, an email and password, or a Google account. All three open the same brand. If the link never arrives, the guide says to wait two minutes, check spam and confirm you typed the address you signed up with, because links only go to existing accounts.
There is no Ocoya app to download from an app store. Ocoya's install guide says it runs in the browser and can be added to your home screen instead. On iPhone, open app.ocoya.com in Safari, choose Share, then Add to Home Screen with Open as Web App switched on. On Android, use Add to home screen in Chrome. Installing on a Mac through Safari needs macOS Sonoma or later. The installed version is the same account as the website and updates by itself.
On discounts, the pricing page still shows no promo code. Ocoya's affiliate page does say that anyone who signs up through an affiliate link gets 20 percent off the full monthly price, applied at checkout. The affiliate earns 30 percent recurring commission on that subscription, with a 60 day cookie and payouts through PayPal, which explains why so many Ocoya reviews carry a referral link. Existing customers join the Ocoya affiliate program from Settings, Refer us, which opens a separate affiliate portal, according to Ocoya's referral guide.
For customer service, the Support button at the bottom of the left sidebar offers live chat, email and the help center. Ocoya's page on getting help suggests live chat for something blocking you now, such as a post that will not publish, and email for billing questions or a request to delete your account. Paste the exact error text, the channel and the scheduled time, and the first reply is usually the answer.
Ocoya Credits: What One Credit Buys
Credits pay for AI work and for automation runs. Ocoya's help page on credits prices almost everything at 1 credit and shows the total on the button before you run it. Scheduling, publishing and replies you type yourself cost nothing.
| Action | Credits |
|---|---|
| Generate a caption | 1 |
| Generate an image | 1 for each image |
| A post with a caption and 1 image | 2 |
| A post with a caption and a 5 image carousel | 6 |
| Rewrite, shorten, expand or translate text | 1 for each action |
| Generate hashtags | 1 |
| Suggest a reply in the inbox | 1 |
| One workflow run, however many steps it has | 1 |
| A campaign of 10 posts with 1 image each | 20 |
| Schedule and publish a post you wrote yourself | 0 |
On Starter, 300 credits is 150 posts with one generated image each, or 300 captions. Unused credits do not carry over. The balance refills monthly on the day you subscribed, on yearly plans too, and one balance is shared by every brand the account owner has. At zero the AI features stop and posts you already scheduled still publish. Regenerating costs the same again. Two gaps to know about: the pricing page FAQ also lists analytics exports as a use of credits, and the help page gives no credit price for video.
How to Use Ocoya: How It Works From Sign Up to First Post
These are the first steps Ocoya's guide to setting up your first brand and its guide to the first post recommend, read on October 17, 2026, with the details that catch new users out.
- Step 1
Create a Brand With a Real Description
Ocoya will not continue without a brand name and a description. The description is what its AI reads every time it writes a caption or makes an image, so a vague line gives vague posts for as long as you keep the brand. Two sentences on what you sell, who buys it and how you sound is the suggested start. Fetch brand can then read your website to fill in logos and the rest of the profile.
- Step 2
Change the Time Zone Before You Schedule
New brands start on UTC. If you are anywhere else, change it first, or every post goes out at the wrong hour.
- Step 3
Connect One Channel
Start with the network you post to most. Each connected channel takes one of the profile slots on your plan, 5 on Starter, so pick the first few with care.
- Step 4
Write One Post by Hand
The help center suggests publishing one post yourself before generating anything, to prove the connection works. A scheduled time must be at least two minutes ahead, Publish now skips that, and a post saved without a date stays a draft that never publishes.
- Step 5
Then Generate a Post With AI
Choose Create new, then Post with AI, and describe the post. Switches under the prompt add hashtags and images and set tone and length, and a badge shows the credit cost before you run it. If the result sounds generic, the guide points back to the brand description. For an app, compare that with Spreadcast, where the whole setup is one App Store link on the start page.
How Spreadcast Differs From Ocoya for an App
Ocoya answers the question of what to post when you sit down and ask it. For an app developer the harder question comes earlier: who sits down. A release goes out, App Review approves it at 2 a.m., and nobody writes the announcement. Spreadcast is built for that gap. You paste your App Store link once and it checks the public listing every day. It needs no SDK, no code and no access to your developer account.
Spreadcast designs a post for three things on the listing. A new version becomes an app update announcement: the release notes are reduced to two or three points and set over your own screenshot. A new 5 star review becomes a review post. A rating milestone, for example 1,000 ratings or a 4.8 average, becomes a thank you post. When a week passes without an update, Spreadcast drafts a post about one feature so the account keeps moving.
The look comes from your listing instead of a description. Spreadcast uses the app icon, the screenshots and colors read from the icon, and takes the logo and fonts from your website if the app has one. Every post is a 1080 by 1350 still image with typeset text. Our app update announcement examples show the layouts.
Reviews get careful handling. Apple's ratings and reviews page allows your rating in marketing when it matches the current rating and allows customer reviews only with the reviewer's permission. A post that shows the rating alone can publish by itself. A post that quotes a reviewer waits for you. The wider rules are in our guide to the App Store marketing guidelines.
Each post takes the next free slot on the calendar and goes out within minutes of that time, with a separate caption for each network. You can drag a post to another day. You pick one of two modes: approve every post with one tap, or full autopilot.
The entry price is the same $29 a month and what it buys is different: 5 social profiles and 300 credits for posts you prompt, or all 8 networks with every post designed, captioned and published for you. The cost section below shows the arithmetic.
Ocoya Features, Area by Area, and What Spreadcast Does for an App
Each card says what Ocoya does in that area, from its own help center on October 12, 2026, and what an app founder gets from Spreadcast for the same job.
AI Posts and Campaigns
You type a prompt and Ocoya returns a caption with hashtags, plus 1 to 10 images if you switch them on. A campaign spreads a run of posts over a period you pick, from one every 2 days to 4 a day, shaped by a goal such as Launch and an audience such as Founders. Ocoya's campaign guide says nothing reaches the calendar until you review and approve it. Spreadcast needs no prompt: the release notes, the review or the milestone on your listing is the brief.
Design Studio and AI Images
Ocoya's Studio guide describes a full editor with more than 1,500 templates for posts, stories and ads, styled by the logos and colors in your brand profile. Generated images take up to 3 reference pictures, according to its image guide, which also warns that a brand with no visual identity filled in gets generic output. Spreadcast designs each post from your real icon and screenshots and sets the text in type, so there is nothing to design and no invented screen. The brand kit generator page shows what it reads.
Workflows and Triggers
A workflow is one trigger followed by actions. Ocoya's list of triggers has seven: a schedule, a new RSS item (checked every 1 to 2 hours), a published WooCommerce product, a webhook, and a new comment, mention or DM. An App Store release, review or rating is not among them. A developer could call the webhook from a release script and write the agent's standing prompt. In Spreadcast the daily listing check is the trigger and there is nothing to build.
Calendar and Post Approvals
Ocoya's planner picks posting times and holds any post you send for sign off. Its approvals guide says a pending post will not publish even if its time passes, a rejected post goes back to draft, and a member with the Client role can approve but cannot edit. In Spreadcast each post takes the next free slot by itself, and approve first mode holds it for one tap. See the social media content calendar page.
Social Inbox
The inbox has tabs for DMs, mentions and comments, with open, resolved and assigned filters and a reply drafted from the last four messages for 1 credit. One limit is easy to miss: Ocoya's inbox guide says it supports Facebook and Instagram only, although you can publish to many more networks. Spreadcast publishes the posts and you reply inside each network.
API and MCP for AI Assistants
Ocoya's guide to connecting AI tools lists setup tabs for Claude, ChatGPT, Codex and VS Code. The connection is approved with OAuth and limited to the brands you tick, and anything that costs credits in the app costs the same through an assistant. It is a strong option if you already live in one of those tools. Spreadcast has an MCP server too. You add it in Claude or ChatGPT, sign in with Spreadcast, and the assistant can design posts and carousels in your app's brand, write captions, schedule and read analytics. A new connection is drafts only, so nothing goes out until you approve it. The daily App Store listing check still runs on its own, as our AI social media manager page explains, and setup is on our social media MCP server page.
Ocoya vs Spreadcast: Feature Comparison
Ocoya facts come from its home page, pricing page and help center on October 12, 2026. The rows that matter most to an app founder come first, and the rows where Ocoya does more say how to pair the two.
| Ocoya | Spreadcast | |
|---|---|---|
| What starts a post | A prompt, a link or a goal you pick, or a workflow trigger such as a timer, a blog feed or a new WooCommerce product | Spreadcast does. A daily check of your listing finds a new version, a new 5 star review or a rating milestone and starts the post |
| Setup | Describe your brand in one sentence for the brand kit, then give a prompt, a link or a goal for each post or campaign | Paste one App Store link. No SDK, no code and no access to your developer account |
| Your time per post | Type the prompt, check the caption and the visual, then approve the batch | One tap to approve, or none on full autopilot |
| Price for 8 networks | Starter at $29 a month covers 5 social profiles. The next plan, Team at $79 a month, covers 20 | $29 a month flat on Pro, with all 8 networks included |
| Free option | No free plan. A 7 day trial | Free plan: Spreadcast drafts every post for 1 app, ready to download with a small Spreadcast mark |
| App Store reviews and ratings | Not a listed integration or trigger | Spreadcast turns a new 5 star review into a post. Rating posts publish by themselves, and a post that quotes a review waits for your approval |
| Where the design comes from | Its Studio editor and AI images, styled by a brand kit made from your description | Spreadcast designs each post from your app icon, your App Store screenshots and colors read from the icon |
| Approval | You approve a batch and it queues across networks. A teammate or client can sign off first | Approve each post with one tap, or switch to full autopilot |
| Automations and API | Workflows with seven triggers, a REST API and an MCP server for Claude and ChatGPT. Each run costs 1 credit | Nothing to build. The daily listing check is the automation, and an MCP server lets Claude or ChatGPT design posts in your app's brand, write captions, schedule and read analytics, drafts only by default |
| How usage is limited | Monthly credits (300, 1,500 or 5,000) that do not carry over, plus a cap on social profiles | By the number of apps: 1 on Free and Pro, 5 on Studio |
| Lowest paid price | $29 a month, or $290 a year | $29 a month flat, with design, captions and publishing to 8 networks included |
| Built for | Creators, brands, teams and agencies in any industry | Apps on the App Store. Google Play is next on the list and not available yet |
| Formats | Captions, images, carousels and short video | Still image posts at 1080 by 1350 with a caption for each network. Keep Ocoya for carousels and short video |
| Networks | 23 destinations, including YouTube Shorts, Google Business, Telegram, Discord and Mastodon | 11: Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, Threads, Pinterest, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram and Discord, plus YouTube for video posts |
| Inbox for comments and DMs | Yes, for Facebook and Instagram, with AI drafted replies | Replies happen inside each network. Keep Ocoya beside it if you want a shared inbox for those two |
| Seats and brands | 1, 5 or 20 users. Brands share one pool of profiles and credits | 1 app on Free and Pro. 5 apps and 3 seats on Studio |
A Worked Week: Your App Ships Version 2.4 on Tuesday
An invented example to show the steps: version 2.4 of a budgeting app adds shared wallets and fixes an export bug. Apple's App Review page says it typically reviews at least 50 percent of submissions in under 24 hours and 90 percent in under 48, so you rarely know the hour a version will go live.
| Day | In Ocoya on Starter | In Spreadcast on Pro |
|---|---|---|
| Tuesday: version 2.4 goes live | Nothing happens until you open Ocoya. You paste the release notes into a prompt, switch on one image and generate: 2 credits. To show the real screen you upload your own screenshot or lay it out in Studio | The daily check finds version 2.4. Spreadcast cuts the release notes to two or three points and designs the announcement over your own screenshot |
| Tuesday evening | You check the caption, pick the profiles and schedule. Starter connects 5 profiles, so three of your eight networks are posted by hand | The post waits for one tap, or goes out on full autopilot, with a caption written for each of the 8 networks |
| Thursday: a 5 star review arrives | You see it in App Store Connect, paste the text into a new prompt and spend 2 more credits. Whether you may quote the reviewer is yours to check | Spreadcast designs a review post. The version that shows only the rating can publish by itself, and the version that quotes the reviewer waits for you |
| Saturday: the app passes 1,000 ratings | Another prompt, if you noticed the number | Spreadcast designs a thank you post for the milestone |
| The week after, with no release | A schedule workflow can post on a timer for 1 credit a run, on whatever its agent's standing prompt says | Spreadcast drafts a post about one feature of the app |
The week in Ocoya: three prompts, 6 credits and three networks posted by hand. The week in Spreadcast: three taps in approve first mode. On full autopilot only the post that quotes the reviewer needs you.
What 8 Networks Cost on Ocoya Against Spreadcast Pro at $29
Count the profiles first. Ocoya counts every connected channel as one social profile, so an app on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, Threads, Pinterest, Bluesky and Telegram needs 8. Starter holds 5 and refuses the sixth. The next plan is Team at $79 a month.
On monthly billing that is $79 against $29 for Spreadcast Pro: $50 more each month, or $600 more over a year. On yearly billing Team is $790 and Spreadcast Pro is $290, a gap of $500. Team does buy more than profiles: 5 users, 20 profiles and 1,500 credits. That is good value for a team with several brands, and one app founder uses little of it.
Then count the credits. A month for one app might hold 2 update posts, 3 review posts, 1 milestone post and 2 feature posts. That is 8 posts at 2 credits each, or 16 credits out of the 300 on Starter: about 5 percent of the allowance. The rest exists for campaigns, carousels and automations you may never run.
Starter billed yearly costs the same as Spreadcast Pro billed yearly: $290 each. Ocoya's plan buys 5 of the 8 networks, paid up front, and you still write the prompt for every post. If release posts are the job, Spreadcast Pro publishes them to all 8 networks for $29 a month, and the free plan drafts every post first.
Ocoya Reviews: Pros and Cons From Its Own Pages
We did not run a blind test of output quality, and we make Spreadcast, so this Ocoya review keeps to what you can check on Ocoya's pricing page and help center as of October 2026.
| Area | Pro | Con |
|---|---|---|
| Price | Flat plans from $29 a month with brands unlimited, so a second business costs nothing extra | 5 profiles on Starter. The sixth means Team at $79 |
| Free use | A 7 day trial of the whole plan, credits included | No free plan. The help center says a card is entered and charged on day 7, while the pricing page says no card is required |
| Credits | Almost every action costs 1 credit and the total shows before you run it | Credits do not carry over, regenerating costs again, and every run of an automation spends one whether or not a post comes out |
| Networks | 23 destinations, with Threads, Bluesky, Telegram and Discord among them | The inbox covers Facebook and Instagram only |
| Content | Captions in 37 languages, images, carousels, campaigns and an editor with more than 1,500 templates | Output depends on the brand profile. Ocoya's own guide says a thin profile gives generic posts |
| Automation | Workflows, a REST API and an MCP server on every plan | A workflow runs one path and its steps are fixed once it is created, per Ocoya's workflows overview. No App Store trigger |
| Moving in and out | You cancel yourself and nothing is deleted | No import of scheduled posts and no bulk export, per Ocoya's switching guide |
For an app, Spreadcast covers the cons in the Price, Free use and Automation rows: all 8 networks at $29 a month flat, a free plan with no card, and a post that starts from the App Store listing with nothing to set up.
Who Should Stay With Ocoya
Ocoya is the right tool for these six jobs. If you also ship an app, keep Ocoya for them and for one off posts, and let Spreadcast run the recurring update, review and milestone posts.
Your Business Is Not an App
A coffee roaster, a clinic or a consultancy has no App Store listing. Ocoya works from a sentence about your brand and a prompt, so it fits any business. Spreadcast is built for apps on the App Store.
You Answer Comments and DMs on Facebook and Instagram
Ocoya's Social Inbox collects DMs, comments and mentions from those two networks and drafts replies. Spreadcast publishes the posts and replies happen inside each network, so keep Ocoya if a shared inbox saves you time.
You Post to Discord or YouTube Shorts
Ocoya reaches 23 destinations. Spreadcast publishes to 11: Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, Threads, Pinterest, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram and Discord, plus YouTube for video posts. If you need one of Ocoya's other destinations, that is a reason to keep it.
You Want Short Video
Ocoya generates short video next to images and carousels. Spreadcast makes still image posts, so keep Ocoya for video.
You Manage Many Client Accounts
The Agency plan gives 20 users and 100 social profiles shared across brands. Spreadcast Studio covers 5 apps and 3 seats and is built for studios whose accounts are apps. Our page for agencies shows where it fits.
You Want Claude or ChatGPT to Run Your Posting
With the API and MCP server an assistant can draft and schedule in Ocoya for you, for any kind of business. Spreadcast also has an MCP server, so for an app Claude or ChatGPT can design posts and carousels in your app's brand, write captions, schedule and read analytics there, drafts only by default, while the daily check of your listing keeps running on its own. Keep Ocoya when the brand your assistant posts for is not an app.
Six Ocoya Alternatives, Three of Them With a Free Plan
Spreadcast is ours and comes first, because it is the only one here that reads an App Store listing and designs and publishes the posts with no prompt. If you do not ship an app, choose from the five after it. Spreadcast, Buffer and Metricool have free plans, which answers the search for an Ocoya free alternative. Prices come from each vendor's own page on October 12, 2026.
| Tool | Best for | Starting price |
|---|---|---|
| Spreadcast | Apps on the App Store: Spreadcast designs and publishes every update, review and milestone post, with no prompt | Free plan drafts every post, then $29 a month flat with publishing to 8 networks included (Spreadcast pricing) |
| Buffer | A free scheduler for up to 3 channels with an AI writing assistant | Free, then $6 a month per channel, or $5 billed yearly (Buffer's pricing page) |
| Metricool | Scheduling with analytics and competitor tracking | Free for 1 brand, then from $25 a month, or $20 billed annually (Metricool's pricing page) |
| Predis.ai | Video ads, UGC clips and ad creatives from a product link | $32 a month, or $288 billed yearly, after a 3 day trial (Predis.ai's pricing page) |
| Marky | Local service businesses that want posts made from their website | $39 a month, or $19 a month billed annually (Marky's pricing page) |
| Blaze | Social posts, blog posts and emails from one brand kit | $79 a month, 7 day free trial (Blaze's pricing page) |
Prices are in US dollars before tax. Plans change often, so confirm on the linked page.
What Each Ocoya Alternative Does Best
Spreadcast is covered in the sections above. These are the other five.
Buffer
Buffer is the plain choice when you write your own posts and need them to go out on time. The free plan connects up to 3 channels with 10 scheduled posts per channel at a time, and its AI Assistant is included. Paid plans charge per channel, so 3 channels on Essentials cost $18 a month. The assistant helps you write and repurpose text, and you bring the images. See our Buffer alternative page.
Metricool
Metricool leans toward numbers: analytics, reports and competitor tracking next to the planner. The free plan covers 1 brand and 20 scheduled posts a month, without LinkedIn or X. Starter begins at $25 a month for up to 5 brands. Choose it when you want to measure what you publish. Details are on our Metricool alternative page.
Predis.ai
Predis.ai now leads with ads and video. It makes image ads, UGC videos with AI avatars and carousels from a product link, and connects to Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix and Squarespace. It lists fewer networks than Ocoya and has no free plan. Pick it for ecommerce and paid social. We cover it on our Predis AI alternative page.
Marky
Marky's homepage says it learns your brand from your website instead of a sentence, then generates a month of posts. It publishes to 7 networks, Google Business among them, and the first 30 posts are free. It suits a local business owner more than a team. Read our Marky alternative page.
Blaze
People compare Ocoya vs Blaze AI when they want more than social posts. Blaze spends 1 credit on a static social post, 3 on an email or a blog post and 15 on an AI video, from 600 credits on the $79 Starter plan. That plan connects 3 posting accounts for 1 user, so it costs more than Ocoya Starter and connects fewer accounts.
Ocoya vs Buffer, Hootsuite and Predis AI: Short Answers
Three comparisons people search for, answered from each vendor's own pricing as of October 2026. Ocoya publishes its own versions too, and they are unusually frank about where the other tool wins.
Ocoya vs Buffer
Buffer if you write your own posts, Ocoya if you want them generated. Buffer is free for 3 channels, and 5 channels on Essentials cost 5 times $6, or $30 a month, against $29 for Ocoya Starter with 300 credits and image generation. Buffer's assistant writes text only. Ocoya's own Buffer comparison gives Buffer the free plan, the simplest queue and team members without a seat limit. Neither one knows your app shipped.
Ocoya vs Hootsuite
Hootsuite for a large organization, Ocoya for making the content. Hootsuite's plans page starts at $99 per user a month billed annually, more than three times Ocoya Starter. Ocoya's Hootsuite comparison says plainly that it offers no social listening and no paid ads management, which Hootsuite has. An app founder needs neither to announce a release. Our Hootsuite alternative page has the detail.
Ocoya vs Predis AI
Predis.ai for video ads, Ocoya for networks and automation. Predis.ai Core is $32 a month with 1,300 credits and charges 15 for an image, which is 86 images. Ocoya Starter is $29 with 300 credits at 1 an image. Predis.ai makes UGC video with AI avatars and keeps auto posting for its $79 plan. Ocoya lists Threads and Bluesky, which Predis.ai does not, and includes workflows on every plan.
How to Cancel Ocoya: The Steps From Its Help Center
Taken from Ocoya's help page on cancelling, read on October 12, 2026. You can cancel yourself at any time without writing to anyone.
- Step 1
Find Your Renewal Date
Open the account menu (the avatar at the top of the sidebar) and choose Billing. Only Owners and Admins see it. The renewal date on that screen is the day you are charged next, and on a trial it is the deadline for leaving without a charge.
- Step 2
Select Unsubscribe
The button sits on your current plan card next to Manage subscription. Ocoya offers a call first. Choose Continue cancelling, then confirm on the Stripe page that opens.
- Step 3
Know What Stays
On a paid plan, access runs to the end of the period you paid for and that period is not refunded. Then the account drops to 1 brand and 1 user with no connected profiles and no credits. Posts, brands and media are kept, and scheduled posts stop publishing.
- Step 4
Save What You Need and Close the Door
Ocoya has no bulk export, so copy the captions and media you want before the period ends. Cancelling does not delete the account: Ocoya's page on deleting your account says deletion is a separate request to support, and that you should also revoke Ocoya's access inside each social network.
How to Move Your App's Posts From Ocoya to Spreadcast
The Free plan drafts every post, so you can test this before you change anything in Ocoya.
- Step 1
Paste Your App Store Link
Open the start page and paste the link to your app. Spreadcast reads the icon, screenshots, rating and current version from the public listing.
- Step 2
Compare a Draft With Your Last Ocoya Post
Download a draft and place it next to a recent post. Check two things: whether it looks like your app, and whether the release points are the ones you would have picked.
- Step 3
Connect the Networks You Use
On Pro, connect each account once. Start with approve first so nothing publishes without one tap from you. Well written notes make better posts, and our app release notes examples show what to aim for.
- Step 4
Pick a Switchover Date
Two tools can hold access to the same account at once, and Ocoya's switching guide names the risk: both queues posting in the same week. Choose a date, switch off any Ocoya workflow that announces releases, and clear those posts from its planner.
- Step 5
Decide What Stays in Ocoya
If you use the inbox, Discord or video, keep Ocoya for those and let Spreadcast run the release posts. If you only used Ocoya to announce releases, cancel before the next renewal date.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Ocoya still active in 2026?
Yes. On October 12, 2026 Ocoya's website showed a 2026 copyright from UAB Ocoya, three plans with a 7 day trial, and newly added features such as bio pages and an MCP server.
Is Ocoya free?
No. Ocoya has a 7 day free trial of the plan you pick and no free plan you can publish from. Its pricing page says no card is needed, while its help center says a card is entered and charged when the trial ends, so read the checkout screen. Spreadcast has a free plan for one app that drafts every post.
How much does Ocoya cost?
Starter is $29 a month, Team is $79 and Agency is $199. Paying yearly costs $290, $790 or $1,990, which is ten months for twelve. Spreadcast Pro is also $29 a month: it covers 8 networks where Ocoya Starter covers 5 social profiles, and the posts are designed and published for you.
What is Ocoya AI?
Ocoya AI is the part of Ocoya that writes captions, generates images and carousels, drafts inbox replies and runs workflows. It runs on monthly credits (300 on Starter, 1,500 on Team and 5,000 on Agency), and most actions cost 1 credit.
What is the best free alternative to Ocoya?
For an app on the App Store, Spreadcast: its free plan designs a post for every update, 5 star review and rating milestone, ready to download. For general scheduling, Buffer: its free plan covers 3 channels. Metricool is free for 1 brand with 20 posts a month.
How many credits does an Ocoya post use?
A caption costs 1 credit and each generated image costs 1 more, so a post with one image is 2 credits and Starter's 300 credits cover 150 of them. Unused credits do not carry over to the next month. The full list is in the credits table above.
Can Ocoya post my app updates automatically?
Not from the App Store. Ocoya's workflow triggers are a timer, a blog feed, a WooCommerce product, a webhook and inbox events, with no App Store connection. A developer could call the webhook or the API from a release script. Spreadcast does this with no code by checking your listing daily, as explained in how to promote an app on social media.
Does Spreadcast replace everything in Ocoya?
It replaces the recurring part for an app: Spreadcast designs and publishes the posts about your updates, reviews and rating milestones, with no prompt. It is built for apps on the App Store and makes still image posts. Keep Ocoya beside it if you use the inbox, short video or destinations such as Discord and Mastodon.
