Terms of Service

The terms that govern your use of Spreadcast: your account, plans, your content, and the social accounts you connect.

Last updated October 26, 2026

These Terms of Service (the Terms) are an agreement between you and Spreadcast (Spreadcast, we, us, or our). They govern your use of our website, app, and related services, which we call the Service together.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who can use Spreadcast

You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. If you use Spreadcast on behalf of a company or other organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization, and the word you then refers to it as well.

You may not use the Service if you are barred from doing so under the laws of your country or any other applicable jurisdiction.

2. Your account

You need an account to use most of the Service. You agree to give accurate information, to keep it current, and to keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, so tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized use.

Accounts are for the person or organization that created them. Seats on team plans are per person and may not be shared.

3. What the Service does

Spreadcast analyzes the website and brand details you submit, generates marketing creatives and captions in your brand style, and lets you edit, download, schedule, and publish them to the social accounts you connect.

We may add, change, or remove features as the product develops. We will not make a material reduction to a paid plan's core functionality without telling you.

4. Plans, billing, and cancellation

Spreadcast offers a free plan and paid plans. Current plan names, prices, and included limits are shown on our pricing page and in your settings.

Seller and payments

Purchases are sold and processed by Polar Software, Inc., our reseller and merchant of record. Polar charges your payment method, calculates and collects sales tax or VAT where required, issues your invoice, and its Buyer Terms also apply to your purchase.

Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis and renew automatically until you cancel. Any sales tax or VAT is added at checkout and shown on your invoice.

One time purchases

Post Packs, the 30-Day Pass and photo top-ups are charged once and do not renew. Post Pack posts and top-up photos do not expire. The 30-Day Pass gives paid plan features for 30 days from purchase, and a pass bought while another is running starts when that one ends.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time in Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep paid features until then. If a paid plan or purchase is not for you, write to us within 7 days of paying and we refund the full amount. After 7 days, payments are not refundable except where required by law.

Included allowances

Paid plans include a monthly allowance of generated images and other metered features. Unused allowance does not roll over. If your plan changes or ends, features that were tied to that plan, including scheduling and auto publishing, stop applying to future activity, and posts already queued may not be published.

Price changes

We may change prices. We will give you notice before a change applies to your renewal, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

5. Your content and your brand

You keep ownership of everything you bring to Spreadcast, including your website content, logo, brand assets, product images, and copy, and of the creatives you generate or edit in the Service. We call all of this Your Content.

You grant us a worldwide, non exclusive, royalty free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, and process Your Content, and to transmit it to the platforms you connect, solely to operate and improve the Service for you. This license ends when you delete the content or close your account, except for backups retained for a limited period and anything we must keep by law.

You are responsible for Your Content. You confirm that you own it or have the rights to use it, and that our handling of it as described here does not infringe anyone's rights. Only submit websites and assets you own or have permission to use.

We do not sell Your Content, and we do not use it to train our own models. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.

6. AI generated content

Spreadcast uses third party artificial intelligence providers to generate images and text from your brand inputs. Generated output can be inaccurate, generic, or similar to output produced for other users, and the legal status of AI generated material varies by country.

You are responsible for reviewing everything before you publish it, including factual claims, pricing, trademarks, and any advertising or disclosure rules that apply to your business. We provide generated output as is and make no promise that it is accurate, original, or protectable.

7. Connected social accounts

You may connect social accounts, such as Instagram, Pinterest, or LinkedIn, so Spreadcast can publish on your behalf. Connecting an account authorizes us to act on it through that platform's official API, limited to the permissions you approve.

  • You may connect only accounts you own or are authorized to manage.
  • We publish only content that you created or approved in Spreadcast and scheduled to a specific time.
  • You can disconnect an account at any time in your settings, and you can revoke our access from the platform's own settings. Either action stops future publishing and removes the stored access tokens.
  • Your use of each connected platform is also governed by that platform's own terms, community guidelines, and advertising policies, and you remain responsible for following them.

Platforms can change, rate limit, or withdraw their APIs, and can reject or remove content for their own reasons. We are not responsible for a post that a platform delays, refuses, or takes down, or for access that a platform revokes.

8. Acceptable use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

  • Publish content that is unlawful, deceptive, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or otherwise violates a connected platform's rules.
  • Infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights, or impersonate a person or brand.
  • Post to accounts you do not own or control, or use the Service to run spam, bulk duplicate posting, or artificial engagement.
  • Submit websites or assets you have no right to use.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the Service, or try to extract its models, prompts, or underlying code.
  • Probe, overload, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure, or bypass usage limits, rate limits, or access controls.
  • Resell, sublicense, or offer the Service to third parties as your own product without our written permission.

9. Our intellectual property

Spreadcast, including the software, design, templates, model prompts, documentation, and brand, belongs to us and our licensors. These Terms give you a limited, revocable, non transferable right to use the Service, and nothing more. You may not use our name or logo without permission, other than to say factually that you use Spreadcast.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely and without obligation to you.

10. Third party services

The Service depends on third parties for hosting, authentication, payments, AI generation, and social publishing. Their services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions. If a third party becomes unavailable, parts of the Service may be degraded or unavailable too.

11. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if your use creates legal risk or harms other users or a connected platform, if payment fails, or if we are required to by law. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will give you notice and a chance to fix the problem.

On termination, your right to use the Service ends and scheduled posts stop. Sections that by their nature should survive, including content licenses already exercised, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification, continue to apply.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non infringement, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error free, that generated content will be accurate or effective, or that using Spreadcast will produce any particular marketing result, reach, or revenue.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Spreadcast will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost goodwill, or business interruption, even if we were advised that such damages were possible.

Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service in any twelve month period is limited to the greater of one hundred US dollars or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Spreadcast and its officers, employees, and agents from claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable legal fees arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service, your connected accounts, or your breach of these Terms or of applicable law.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Changes take effect when posted, and your continued use of the Service after that means you accept them. If you do not accept a change, stop using the Service and cancel your plan.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Spreadcast is established, without regard to conflict of law rules, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer, you keep the protections and the right to bring proceedings under the mandatory laws of your country of residence.

Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue directly.

17. General

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent, and we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
