The short answer to how much does social media management cost: anywhere from $0 to more than $5,000 a month, depending on who makes the posts. As of October 2026, freelance social media managers on Upwork charge $14 to $35 an hour, agencies reviewed on Clutch most often bill $25 to $49 an hour, and the average social media manager salary on Indeed is $65,662 a year. Doing it yourself costs no cash and about 10 hours a month for a three post week.
This guide prices each option for one app with a small team, shows where every number comes from, and then adds the costs that no invoice lists. None of the figures include ad spend. Money paid to a network to promote posts is a separate budget.
How much does social media management cost per month?
The table uses one workload so the rows can be compared: three designed posts a week (about 12 a month) published to two or three networks.
| Option | What you pay per month | What that covers | Where the number comes from |
|---|---|---|---|
| Do it yourself, free tools | $0 in cash, about 10 hours of your time | You plan, write, design and publish every post | Worked example in the next section |
| Do it yourself, paid tools | About $30, plus the same 10 hours | A scheduler on three channels and a design tool | Buffer's pricing page and Canva's pricing page |
| Automation tool for an app | Spreadcast Pro: $29 flat | Spreadcast designs each update, review and milestone post, writes a caption per network and publishes to 8 networks. You write the personal posts | The Spreadcast pricing page |
| Freelancer, paid by the hour | $140 to $350 for 10 hours | Someone else makes the posts from your brief | Upwork's social media manager rates: $14 to $35 an hour |
| Freelancer, monthly package | $400 to $2,000 for two channels | Account management with all services, each extra channel $200 to $1,500 | Upwork's sample small business rates on the same page |
| Agency | About $5,100 on average | Strategy, content, community and usually paid campaigns | Clutch's social media marketing pricing guide, updated September 2026 |
| Full time social media manager | About $5,470 in salary, near $7,800 with benefits | One person on your team, 40 hours a week | Indeed's social media manager salary data and BLS employer cost data |
The spread is wide because the rows buy different things. A freelancer at $20 an hour makes posts. An agency retainer buys a team, a plan and campaign management. Decide which job you are hiring for before you compare prices.
Social media management packages: what is included at each price
Quotes are hard to compare because a package is a bundle, and two bundles at the same price rarely hold the same things. The ladder below sorts the sourced numbers in this guide by what a month of that money buys. The freelance figures are Upwork's sample monthly rates from intermediate, US based specialists serving small businesses.
| Monthly spend | What is usually included | What is usually left out |
|---|---|---|
| $0 | Free scheduling on Facebook and Instagram, or three channels on a free scheduler plan | Everything that takes time: ideas, captions, design and replies |
| Under $50 | A paid scheduler for three to five channels and a design tool | The same work as the row above. Tools publish what you make |
| $140 to $350 | About 10 freelance hours, enough for 12 designed posts made from your brief | Strategy, replies to comments, and your own hour or two of briefing |
| $200 to $950 | Images and graphic design alone, as a monthly freelance package | Captions, scheduling and account management |
| $400 to $2,000 | Freelance account management on two channels with all services | Each extra channel at $200 to $1,500, plus campaigns and influencer work |
| About $5,100 | An agency team: profile setup, a content calendar, posting, content creation, community engagement and analytics | Ad spend, which the networks bill apart |
| $5,470 to $7,800 | A full time social media manager, counted as salary alone and then as salary plus benefits | Tools, design software and any video or ad budget |
The agency services in that row are the ones Clutch's pricing guide lists as typical. Upwork prices the common extras as monthly add ons for a small business: campaign creation at $300 to $1,000, influencer targeting at $200 to $1,000, customer outreach at $200 to $1,000 and blogging with social shares at $400 to $1,200.
Questions to ask before you accept a package
- How many posts a month, on which networks and in which formats. A still image and a 30 second video are different amounts of work.
- Who designs. Design is sometimes included and sometimes billed as its own line.
- Who writes the first draft about your product, and what you have to hand over each month.
- Who replies to comments and messages, and how fast. Upwork's cost page names the speed and volume of replies as a factor that raises the rate.
- How many rounds of changes the price covers.
- What the monthly report contains, and whether it shows anything beyond likes.
- Whether managing ads is in the fee. Clutch notes that agency fees and ad spend are usually separate.
- How long the contract runs and how much notice ends it.
Cost 1: doing it yourself, and how long it takes to make a social media post
No reliable published benchmark exists for how long one social media post takes, because the answer depends on the format and on whether a template exists. So time yourself. The breakdown below is a worked example for one designed image post with a caption, made from an existing template.
| Task | Minutes in this example |
|---|---|
| Decide what the post is about and find the screenshot or review | 5 |
| Write the caption, then a shorter version for X, Threads and Bluesky | 10 |
| Design the image from the template and check it on a phone | 20 |
| Export, upload and schedule on each network | 10 |
| Total for one post | 45 |
Twelve posts at 45 minutes is 9 hours. Add an hour to plan the month and you are at 10 hours. Run your own numbers with a stopwatch for one week before you trust this or any other estimate. Video takes far longer.
Then price those hours. If the person making the posts is the developer, the fair rate is what an hour of development is worth. The US Bureau of Labor Statistics puts the median pay for software developers, quality assurance analysts and testers at $64.44 an hour (May 2025 data), so 10 hours is about $644 of time. Valued at the median graphic designer wage of $30.27 an hour, the same work is about $303.
That $303 to $644 range is the real monthly price of free. It is also the number to hold up against every quote in the sections below. You can lower it by batching: a single planned session beats twelve separate ones, and the method is in how to batch a month of social media content.
How the hours grow with posting frequency
The same 45 minutes per post, plus one planning hour a month, gives these totals. The two money columns use the BLS medians above: $30.27 an hour for a graphic designer and $64.44 for a developer.
| Posts a month | Hours | At the designer median | At the developer median |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4, one a week | 4 | $121 | $258 |
| 12, three a week | 10 | $303 | $644 |
| 20, five a week | 16 | $484 | $1,031 |
| 30, one a day | 23.5 | $711 | $1,514 |
Three things move the 45 minutes more than anything else. A template cuts the design step, and starting from a blank canvas can double it. Every extra network adds an export, an upload and a caption cut to that network's length. Video is a different job with its own rates, covered under freelancers below.
The free stack and the paid stack
A free stack covers a small feed: Meta Business Suite schedules Facebook and Instagram at no charge, Buffer's free plan adds three channels with 10 scheduled posts each at one time, and a free design tool holds your template. The paid version is Buffer Essentials at $6 a channel and Canva Pro at $144 a year, which comes to $30 a month for three channels and $60 for eight (8 times $6, plus $12). Neither stack changes the hours in the table.
Cost 2: social media freelance rates per hour and per month
Upwork publishes rate ranges drawn from past contracts on its marketplace. Social media managers there cost $14 to $35 an hour, and graphic designers on Upwork cost $15 to $35 an hour, and the page adds that designer rates run from $15 up to $150 an hour with an average around $25. Both ranges are worldwide. A specialist based in the United States tends to sit at the top of the range or above it.
US wage data explains why. The median employee wage is $30.27 an hour for graphic designers and $35.94 an hour for public relations specialists, a BLS occupation whose listed duties include social media. A freelancer also pays for their own benefits, which make up about 30 percent of what private employers spend on an employee, according to the BLS employer cost release for June 2026. A US freelancer quoting $50 an hour is charging roughly what that employee costs an employer.
Upwork also lists sample monthly prices charged by intermediate, US based specialists. The small business column is the one that applies to an app with one product and a modest following. The large business column shows how far the same services stretch. If you are still deciding whether to hire at all, our guide on whether to hire a social media manager for your app compares the fees on Upwork, Fiverr and Contra and covers contract terms.
| Service | Small business, per month | Large business, per month |
|---|---|---|
| Account management on two channels, all services | $400 to $2,000 | $2,500 to $10,000 |
| Each extra channel | $200 to $1,500 | $1,500 to $5,000 |
| Images and graphic design | $200 to $950 | $1,000 to $4,500 |
| Campaign creation | $300 to $1,000 | $2,000 to $5,000 |
| Influencer targeting | $200 to $1,000 | $1,500 to $6,000 |
| Customer outreach | $200 to $1,000 | $800 to $4,000 |
| Blogging with social shares | $400 to $1,200 | $2,500 to $7,500 |
The same page prices advice by the hour: $55 to $200 for a campaign advisor and $25 to $150 for social media training. That is the range to expect for a social media consultant who writes the plan and leaves the posting to you.
How much do social media managers charge, and why the range is so wide
Upwork lists six things that move a freelancer's price. They are worth settling before you ask for a quote, because each one is a line you can cut.
- Experience. Someone who has run a large brand's accounts charges more.
- The number of channels. Upwork calls this the most significant cost factor, since each channel needs its own posts and its own monitoring.
- The speed, frequency and volume of replies. A promised answer within the hour costs more than an answer within a day.
- Paid ads, influencer work and contests, which need coordination and their own budgets.
- Customer support. If questions about accounts and bugs arrive on social media, somebody has to be paid to answer them.
- The amount of original content: photos, graphics and above all video.
Video is priced apart
Short video rarely fits inside a posting package. Upwork's video editor rates typically run $6 to $25 an hour, and its tiers put the median at $10 an hour for entry level editors, $40 at mid tier and $100 for senior editors. Ten hours of a mid tier editor adds about $400 a month to any of the figures above.
How to hire a social media manager for a small app team
- Write the scope in one paragraph: posts per month, networks, formats and who replies to comments.
- Ask for three samples made for a product like yours. Posts built from app screens are a different skill from lifestyle photography.
- Pay for a trial of three posts made from one real release before you agree to a month.
- Hand over a kit every month: the release notes, new screenshots, your colors, fonts and logo, and any reviews you have permission to quote. The list of what a brand kit needs covers the fixed part.
- Fix one approval day a week, so a finished post never waits on you.
A freelancer cannot know what shipped in version 2.4 unless you tell them, so budget one or two hours a month of your own time for briefing and approval. At the developer median that is $64 to $129 on top of the invoice.
Cost 3: social media agency pricing
Clutch collects prices from client reviews of agencies. Its pricing guide, updated on September 21, 2026, reports that the usual rate for a social media marketing agency is $25 to $49 an hour, that the average project costs $61,148.53 over a typical 12 month timeline, and that the average monthly cost works out to $5,107.28.
The same page says most projects reviewed on Clutch cost less than $10,000 in total. Both statements can be true: a small number of very large contracts pull the average up. A project under $10,000 spread over that 12 month timeline comes to less than $835 a month, so small engagements exist. Ask what a budget of that size covers before you sign.
How much do social media agencies charge by country
| Where the agency is based | Average hourly rate on Clutch |
|---|---|
| United States, Canada, Australia | $100 to $149 |
| United Kingdom, Poland | $50 to $99 |
| Ukraine, Spain, Mexico | $25 to $49 |
| India, Philippines | Under $25 |
The country table explains the headline rate. The $25 to $49 figure is Clutch's overall rate across every country it covers, while an agency in the United States averages $100 to $149 an hour. At $100 an hour, the 10 hours of the worked example cost $1,000 before any time for strategy or account management.
Agencies that specialize in apps start higher. Of the first eight companies in Clutch's mobile app marketing directory on October 12, 2026, seven list a minimum project size of $5,000 or more, two of those list $25,000 or more, and the hourly rates shown run from $100 to $300. That directory covers mobile marketing as a whole, which is a much larger job than keeping a feed alive, and the minimums reflect it.
Agencies earn their fee on work that needs several skills at once: a launch campaign, paid social, video, influencer outreach. For three posts a week about your own updates, you are paying a team to relay information you already have. If you are planning a launch, the guide to marketing an app shows which parts are worth outside help.
Cost 4: hiring a social media manager full time
Indeed reports an average base salary of $65,662 a year for social media managers in the United States, with a low of $40,959 and a high of $105,262. The figure is based on about 3,200 salaries from job postings over the past 36 months and was last updated on October 11, 2026. That is about $5,470 a month before anything else.
Salary is not the whole cost. The BLS employer cost release for June 2026 shows wages making up 70 percent of what private employers spend on an employee, and benefits the other 30 percent. Apply that average to the Indeed figure and the hire costs close to $93,800 a year, or about $7,800 a month. Your own ratio will differ, so treat this as an estimate.
Location and seniority move the number. Indeed's averages are about $83,000 in New York and about $76,000 in Chicago and Los Angeles, and a senior social media manager averages $108,253 a year. With the same 30 percent share for benefits, a senior hire costs about $154,600 a year, or close to $12,900 a month. A marketing generalist costs more again: the BLS median for advertising, promotions and marketing managers is $165,780 a year, or $79.70 an hour (May 2025 data).
| Hire | Salary a year | Salary a month | With benefits, a month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Social media manager, low end on Indeed | $40,959 | $3,413 | About $4,880 |
| Social media manager, average | $65,662 | $5,472 | About $7,820 |
| Senior social media manager, average | $108,253 | $9,021 | About $12,890 |
| The average salary at half time | $32,831 | $2,736 | Depends on the benefits you offer part time staff |
The last column divides salary by 0.7, which applies the BLS average for private employers. Spread over a 40 hour week (2,080 hours a year), the average salary works out to about $31.57 an hour, close to the BLS median wage for a graphic designer. The difference from a freelancer is that you pay for all 2,080 hours whether or not there are posts to make.
A full time hire makes sense when social media is a main growth channel and there is 40 hours of work a week: community, video, creators, support replies. It rarely makes sense for a feed that needs 12 posts a month.
Social media manager cost in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia and India
Salary is the largest line of a hire, and the country moves it more than seniority does. The table lists Indeed's average base salary for the title social media manager in five countries, read on October 17, 2026. Each figure stays in its own currency, since a conversion would go out of date faster than the salaries.
| Country | Average base salary on Indeed | Low and high on the same page | What the figure rests on |
|---|---|---|---|
| United States | $65,662 a year | $40,959 to $105,262 a year | About 3,200 salaries, updated October 11, 2026 |
| United Kingdom | £34,587 a year | £25,420 to £51,798 a year | About 1,600 salaries, updated October 12, 2026 |
| Canada | C$24.21 an hour | C$18.15 to C$36.32 an hour | 346 salaries, updated October 11, 2026 |
| Australia | A$79,048 a year | A$57,414 to A$108,835 a year | 96 salaries, updated October 8, 2026 |
| India | ₹22,444 a month | ₹11,871 to ₹42,431 a month | 361 salaries, updated July 27, 2026 |
Read the table with three cautions. The Canadian page quotes an hourly figure, which at 2,080 hours a year comes to about C$50,360 (our arithmetic, not Indeed's). A sample of 96 salaries, as in Australia, can swing noticeably from one update to the next. And the 30 percent benefits share used in this guide comes from the BLS release for US private employers, so price benefits from your own country's rules when you hire elsewhere.
The same spread shows up in contract work. Upwork's worldwide range of $14 to $35 an hour sits well under US wages because many of the freelancers behind it live where salaries are lower, and the Clutch table above puts agencies in India under $25 an hour against $100 to $149 in the United States. A remote freelancer from a lower cost country can fit a small app budget, as long as the trial posts show they understand your product and your audience's language.
Cost 5: social media management tools pricing
Tools are the cheapest line on the list. Prices below were checked on each vendor's own page in October 2026.
| Tool | Price | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Meta Business Suite | Free | Schedules posts, stories and reels for Facebook and Instagram only, per Meta's Business Suite help page |
| Buffer | Free for 3 channels with 10 scheduled posts each. Essentials is $6 per channel a month, or $5 billed yearly | Schedules to 12 channels, per Buffer's pricing page. Three channels on Essentials is $18 a month |
| Later | Starter is $25 a month, or $18.75 billed yearly | One user, 30 posts per profile a month, per Later's pricing page |
| Hootsuite | Standard is $99 per user a month, billed annually. No free plan | Up to 10 social accounts, with an inbox and monitoring, per Hootsuite's plans page |
| Canva Pro | $144 a year, which is $12 a month | A design tool for one person, per Canva's pricing page. You still make each post |
Per channel and per user pricing grows with you. Eight channels on Buffer Essentials is $48 a month, and a second Hootsuite seat doubles the bill. The comparisons for Buffer, Later and Hootsuite go through each plan line by line.
Billing period changes these numbers more than people expect. Canva Pro is $144 when you pay for a year and $18 a month when you do not, and Buffer Essentials is $6 a channel billed monthly against $5 billed yearly. A team that is still deciding should compare the monthly prices, since those are the ones it can walk away from.
The bigger point is that a scheduler and a design tool cost $30 a month and remove almost none of the 10 hours. In the worked example, exporting, uploading and scheduling take 10 minutes a post, which is 2 of the 10 hours, and a scheduler shortens only that step. They publish and format. You still decide, write and design, which is the argument of your scheduler is not why your feed is empty.
Social media cost per post: each option divided by 12
Dividing each monthly figure by the same 12 posts gives a rough price per post. It is the quickest way to check a quote that arrives as a flat price per post.
| Option | Monthly cost for 12 posts | Cost per post | What the figure hides |
|---|---|---|---|
| Do it yourself, at the designer median | $303 of time | About $25 | No cash leaves your account |
| Do it yourself, at the developer median | $644 of time | About $54 | The hours come out of building the app |
| Freelancer by the hour | $140 to $350 | $12 to $29 | Your own time for briefing and approval |
| Freelance package for two channels | $400 to $2,000 | $33 to $167 | Account management is inside the price |
| Agency, Clutch average | $5,107 | About $426 | Strategy, community and campaign work sit inside the fee, so the figure overstates the price of one post |
| Full time hire with benefits | About $7,800 | About $650 | A full time person makes far more than 12 posts |
Read the bottom two rows as a warning about fit. An agency or an employee is poor value at 12 posts a month and fair value when the month also holds a launch, a video series and a community to answer.
Social media manager cost calculator: six lines to fill in
An online calculator cannot know how many posts you make or what your hour is worth, so it is quicker to fill in six lines in a sheet. The method works for every option in this guide, and the right column repeats the worked example of 12 posts a month.
| Line | What to enter | Worked example |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Posts a month | Count last month's posts, or the number you plan | 12 |
| 2. Minutes per post | Time one post from idea to scheduled, with a stopwatch | 45 |
| 3. Hours a month | Line 1 times line 2, divided by 60, plus one hour of planning | 10 |
| 4. Value of one hour | Your own rate, a freelancer's quote, or the BLS developer median of $64.44 | $64.44 |
| 5. Monthly cost of the work | Line 3 times line 4 | $644 |
| 6. Cash on top | Schedulers, design tools and any other subscription | $0 on free plans, about $30 on paid ones |
Lines 5 and 6 together are your number. Hold every quote against it, and add one or two hours of your own time to any outsourced quote for briefing and approval. If line 2 is the one that hurts, a template and a batching session lower it more than any tool does. If line 1 is the problem because the posts never get made, the cost you are really paying is the inconsistency described further down.
How much to charge for social media management per month
If you are on the other side of the table, a freelancer or a small studio pricing a client, build the quote from the same parts a buyer will compare. These steps use only the rates already sourced in this guide.
- Count the hours for one month of the scope. Time a real week of the work, then add replies to comments if the client wants them and an hour for a monthly report. For 12 designed posts the worked example above comes to 10 hours before replies.
- Choose an hourly rate you can defend. Upwork's published range is $14 to $35 an hour for social media managers and $15 to $35 for graphic designers. A US based freelancer who pays their own benefits needs about $50 an hour to match what an employee in a similar role costs an employer, as worked out in the freelancer section.
- Multiply and round into a monthly retainer. Ten hours at $35 is $350 a month, and at $50 it is $500.
- Price each extra channel on its own line. Upwork calls the number of channels the most significant cost factor, and its sample small business rates add $200 to $1,500 a month for each channel beyond two.
- Write down what the fee leaves out: ad spend, video, influencer outreach and the client's own tool subscriptions. Clutch notes that agency fees and ad spend are usually billed apart, and clients expect the same split from a freelancer.
- Fix the number of revision rounds and your reply time in the agreement, because both turn into unpaid hours when they are left open.
How much to charge for social media management per post
Pricing per post is easier for a client to compare and riskier for you. Twelve posts at $40 each is $480, which pays well when a post takes 45 minutes and badly when each one goes through three rounds of changes. A monthly retainer with a stated post count and a revision limit protects both sides. For app clients, ask for the release notes and new screenshots as part of the deal, since a post about an update cannot be written without them.
Social media marketing budget: three worked examples for app teams
These budgets use only the rates sourced above and leave out ad spend. Change the counts to match your own month.
A solo developer with no revenue yet
| Line | Monthly cost |
|---|---|
| Meta Business Suite for Facebook and Instagram | $0 |
| Buffer's free plan for up to three channels | $0 |
| A free design tool and one template of your own | $0 |
| Your time: 12 posts and an hour of planning, 10 hours | $0 in cash, $644 at the developer median |
| Total | $0 in cash |
The limit you meet first is the free plan's 10 scheduled posts per channel at one time, which is enough for three posts a week. The real cost is the 10 hours, so batch them into one sitting.
A studio of three to five people with one app that earns money
| Line | Monthly cost |
|---|---|
| Buffer Essentials on five channels, billed monthly | $30 |
| Canva Pro for one person, billed yearly | $12 |
| A freelancer for 10 hours of post making | $140 to $350 |
| Your briefing and approval, 2 hours | $0 in cash, $129 of developer time |
| Total | $182 to $392 in cash |
This is the budget most small app teams land on. It buys the making of the posts and keeps the knowledge of the product with you, which is why the two briefing hours never go away.
A funded startup of ten or more people in a launch quarter
| Line | Monthly cost |
|---|---|
| Freelance account management on two channels, all services | $400 to $2,000 |
| Two extra channels | $400 to $3,000 |
| Campaign creation for the launch | $300 to $1,000 |
| Influencer targeting | $200 to $1,000 |
| A mid tier video editor for 10 hours at the $40 median | $400 |
| One Hootsuite Standard seat | $99 |
| Total | $1,799 to $7,499 |
The top of that range passes the agency average of $5,107 and comes close to the $7,800 of a full time hire. That is the point where one accountable person or one agency contract is simpler to run than five freelance lines. Ad spend sits on top in every case.
The hidden costs: context switching and an inconsistent feed
Context switching
Ten hours a month sounds small until you see how it arrives: in 45 minute pieces, in the middle of other work. A Microsoft Work Trend Index report from June 2025 found that the most heavily pinged fifth of Microsoft 365 users are interrupted every two minutes by a meeting, email or notification. Making a post is one more switch on top.
The switch has a price even when the task gets done. In a lab study led by Gloria Mark, people who were interrupted completed their tasks in less time with no loss of quality, and reported higher stress, frustration, time pressure and effort. A founder who stops coding to design a post pays that twice: once on the post and once getting back into the code.
Inconsistency
The most expensive outcome is the one where you pay the hours and then stop. Buffer's consistency study of more than 100,000 users found that accounts posting in 20 or more weeks out of 26 got about five times the engagement per post of accounts posting in four weeks or fewer. The data is observational and comes from Buffer's own customers, so it shows a pattern and no proof of cause. The pattern matches what most founders see: three good weeks, a release crunch, then a feed that has been silent since spring.
A feed that looks different every week
Hand made posts drift. The headline font changes, the blue shifts, the screenshot frame comes and goes. Each post is fine and the feed looks like five different apps. Fixing that takes a written set of rules, covered in brand consistency without a design team, and the time to write them belongs in your cost.
Briefing, approval and the first month
Every outsourced option still spends your hours. Someone has to explain the release, check the screenshot is the current one and approve the wording, and a post that waits three days for approval misses the release it was about. Expect the first month with a new freelancer or agency to cost more of your time than any later one, while they learn the product and you learn how to brief them. Add those hours to the quote before you compare it with doing the work yourself.
Which option fits your app
- No revenue yet: do it yourself with free tools, batch the month in one session, and keep to three posts a week. The guide to promoting an app for free lists what else costs nothing.
- Shipping every few weeks with no time for posts: automate the posts that repeat (updates, reviews, milestones) and write only the personal ones yourself.
- A launch or a funded growth push: hire a freelancer or an agency for the campaign, the video and the outreach, on a fixed scope with an end date.
- Social media is your main channel: hire full time, and expect the cost to be near $7,800 a month with benefits.
How to decide in four steps
- Sort last month's posts into two piles. The repeating pile holds update announcements, review and rating posts, milestones and feature tips. The other pile holds launches, campaigns and anything in your own voice.
- Time one post from each pile with a stopwatch and multiply by the month's count.
- Price your hour. If you have no better number, use the BLS developer median of $64.44.
- Compare the result with the quotes. Work you can describe in a brief can be handed to a freelancer or a tool. Work that needs your voice stays with you, and its hours are the ones to protect.
Where Spreadcast fits in the cost comparison
Spreadcast is a tool for the second case. You paste your App Store link at the start page, it checks the public listing every day, and each update, 5 star review and rating milestone becomes a designed post with a caption for each network. It designs single image posts and carousels of 3 to 8 slides for apps on the App Store, and it publishes a video you upload (as a Reel on Instagram) without designing any video itself, so keep a freelancer or an agency for making video, campaigns and ads.
The Free plan costs $0 and drafts every post for one app, ready to download. Pro is $29 a month flat, with design, captions and publishing to 8 networks included, on full autopilot or after one tap of approval. Studio is $79 a month for five apps and three seats. The full list is on the pricing page.
Set that beside the rows above. Buffer Essentials on the same 8 networks is $48 a month billed monthly (8 times $6) before anyone has made a post, and 10 freelance hours cost $140 to $350 on Upwork's range. Spreadcast Pro is $29 with the recurring posts designed, captioned and published.
The saving is in hours. Suppose 8 of your 12 monthly posts are the repeating kind. The hand made share falls to 4 posts, which is 3 hours plus the planning hour. At the developer median that is $258 of time plus $29, against $644 for the month made by hand. Run the same sum with your own split from step one above.
The three budgets change in the same way. The solo developer starts on Free and publishes the drafts by hand. The studio adds Pro and buys freelance hours only for the posts that need a person: 4 posts are 3 hours, or $42 to $105 on Upwork's range. The funded startup keeps its campaign team and lets Spreadcast run the recurring posts underneath it.
